ParticipantI am using the ticket feature to book/confirm online web events. Some will be free, and some will be fee based. For both of these types of events, I don’t want the QR code to print (it may create confusion), and I don’t see where that can be disabled. Another problem is the RSVP seems to require complete attendee info for each ticket on the RSVP, but our online events will typically be 1 or more people from the same company/office. Can the RSVP settings be changed to prompt for number attending, names, and titles only?
We also need to provide some basic instructions on the printed ticket email confirmation and do not see where that can be entered.
I do like the fact that the RSVP/ticketing integrates with the calendar and event setup, but if these features don’t exist, then the lack of basic setting options is quite disappointing for a paid plugin.
Thank you for your help.

ParticipantHoping if I restate my issue I will get a prompt reply from “premium” support. 1) How do I disable the QR code that prints on the tickets? 2) How do I remove the ticket + – prompt without losing the RSVP/Ticket form altogether? Thank you.

KeymasterHi David,
Thanks so much for reaching out! We appreciate your patience, as we have been experiencing a higher than normal volume of threads.
You can disable the QR that prints on tickets with this plugin:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/hide-qr-code-from-event-emails/
In terms of removing the + -, it isn’t really possible to do this without losing the functionality of the form. If you remove the arrows, users cannot select a quantity. What specifically are you trying to achieve? You can create a purchase limit on a ticket, if that helps to bring you closer to the functionality that you are looking for.
You can also take a look at our Themer’s Guide and see if you can edit the template for the ticket:

Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi David,
In general, you can use RSVPs and Tickets in combination with one another for the same event. In other words, you can have one event that has RSVPs (which are free and do not go through WooCommerce) and Tickets (which go through WooCommerce and tend to cost money).
Here is some more information on RSVPs and Tickets:

In addition, the following forum post has some code snippets which may be able to help you set the RSVP default to 1:
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime
