in reply to: Create one event post with multiple dates and venues #1410382

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately at this time, when you create a recurring event, you can only create one venue for the event.  As a workaround for now, you can create the recurring event to populate your calendar, and then break events from the series in order to edit the venues individually.

You can, however, create recurring events that have multiple dates.  You can create a custom recurrence rule that does not necessarily have to follow a pattern.

    Hi Laurel,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

What is the ticket sale date being set to automatically?  Is it setting to the current date if you leave it blank?

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Brian,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

In other words, you’d like the ticket to show zero attendees, correct?  If this is the case, you should delete all attendees under the Attendees tab, delete all of the Orders in WooCommerce, and set the total_sales to 0.  Are you seeing different results when doing this?

    If so,

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

in reply to: Need help – possible refund or license transfer #1410092

    Hi Joseph,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

In general, Event Aggregator‘s purpose is so that you can import events from a variety of sources, such as CSV, different calendars, or Facebook.  If that is something that you do not need for your calendar, you can fill out a refund form here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/

Events Calendar PRO comes with all of the features of The Events Calendar, but with additions, such as Recurring Events, Advanced Widgets, and Shortcodes, which can help you to achieve the results that you are describing.

Please let me know if you need any further clarity!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Wendy,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue when trying to update your plugin.  It is possible that something must have timed out during the retrieval process. Can you try updating it manually through ftp? Just remove the current copy on your server and upload a version from your My Account > Downloads page.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Karoliina,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

For now, your best bet may be to use a shortcode, although it sounds like you are already aware of this option and were looking for an alternative.  For what it’s worth, here are the available date choices in shortcode:

in reply to: How to get rid of Page Id at the top left side of page #1410072

    Hi Carolee,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Are you only seeing this Page ID on Events pages, or on all pages?

Do you still see this page ID if you switch to a default WordPress theme, like Twentyseventeen?

Can you provide me with a link to a page that has the page ID included?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Event Calendar Pro – Organizer Mangement #1410071

    Hi Bob,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

One thing that you can do is to use our plugins in combination with a third-party plugin, like Members, so that you can grant permissions to a certain level of user.  You can customize the permissions allowed for Organizers so that they can manage their own information.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Event Date Appearing Incorrectly #1410066

    Hi Richard,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

It looks like your dateWithYearFormat = Y-m-d, which may be causing the dates to appear that way.  You can change it to something like F j, Y in order for it to look the way you want.  You can find this setting by going to Events Settings < Display.

You may also want to change the date setting for WordPress in Settings < General.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Unticking attendee information #1410057

    Hi Brett,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m not sure how your are displaying your terms and conditions, but it doesn’t sound like something that is a part of our plugin, although I may be wrong.

If you can point me to where or how you are creating this customization, I may be able to get a better idea of what you are referring to.

In any case, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

in reply to: View Additional Events Pulls Incorrect Number of Events #1410042

    Hi Justin,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

As a first troubleshooting step, can you update all of your Events Calendar related plugins?

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.

Does this issue occur if you switch to a default theme, like Twentseventeen?

The View All links may not have shown before adding the Test Event because each day only had a maximum of two events per day.  Those links will only show on days where there are three or more events for that day.  Does that make sense?

In any case, there is still an issue when you click on View All 3 events and only see 2.  There are definitely three events for that day, so I’m not sure why that is occurring.  Can you also delete that Test Event and create a new one that is just for one day (instead of spanning over a week period) and see if the same issue occurs?  I tried to replicate your issue, but haven’t been able to see the same results.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: You have x number of tickets purchased for this page #1410006

    Hi Matthew,

    Don’t even worry about it!

Thanks for providing me with that screenshot.  I see what you mean.  Here is a screenshot of what I see, running the most recent version of Event Tickets Plus:

Can you try updating your plugin and testing if the code I provided you with previously works?

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Lubo,

I’m sorry to hear that didn’t resolve your issue.  As a next troubleshooting step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
