ParticipantI have read all your articles about managing this, but it is still unclear what the process is for deleting Orders and Attendees for an event. What I tried is to delete the Orders for that event in WooCommerce, then deleted the Attendees in Events, updated Product total_sales to blank for each product/ticket in that event. Is this the proper sequence and process? What I am left with is that the ‘Deleted Attendees’ is showing the count of how many were deleted. Is there a way to reset this? Do you have a script to clean up the database? We need to clear out all orders and attendees only (we want to keep the events and tickets/products). We need all the counts (including Deleted Attendees count, total_Sales, etc.) to be reset back to 0. Please advise.

KeymasterHi Brian,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
In other words, you’d like the ticket to show zero attendees, correct? If this is the case, you should delete all attendees under the Attendees tab, delete all of the Orders in WooCommerce, and set the total_sales to 0. Are you seeing different results when doing this?
If so,
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jaime,
Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, that is what we are doing but it doesn’t reset the ‘Deleted Attendees’ count to 0. See the screenshot attached.
Thanks.

KeymasterCorrect, the Deleted Attendees will not reset to zero with this process. Unfortunately we don’t have a solution to reset that to 0 at this time. If the reason that you’d like to reset that to zero is because you’d like to reuse the template, you can achieve this by making a copy of the template, and unpublishing the first template.
You can add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we often implement features based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

ParticipantThanks Jaime, we tried cloning an event using Duplicate Post plugin. It doesn’t copy the tickets information over. We have many tickets per event, so this isn’t the ideal way for us. Do you have a different way to copy an event that will also copy the tickets info? I will submit a feature request as well for ‘Deleted Attendee’ count reset.

KeymasterI’m sorry to hear that Duplicate Post did not copy the ticket information over. Unfortunately, I don’t have another solution for this feature. You are welcome to vote on the existing feature request for that idea here:
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
