KeymasterHi Pamela,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
The scenario that you are describing should work. You can export your events via the WordPress Export Tool and then import your events into your calendar via CSV. Here is some more information on CSV imports:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Daniel,
The issue with events not showing up was resolved with a hotfix on Friday, can you try updating and let me know if that issue was resolved for you?
Let me know how that goes!

KeymasterThank you for your feedback.
The workaround for now is to make a template override of the orders-edit-meta.php template and use this one:

I hope this helps, let me know!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Thomas,
I’m getting an error when I try to access those logs, would you mind re-including them?
You can also check with your host to get the PHP error logs if necessary.
Let me know if you have any questions on that in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Lauren,
I see what you mean, but what is happening here is related to the selection of the number of events to show per page. For example, on my own test site, I have Number of events to show per page (in Events Settings < General) set to 10, so when I select a date in the date picker, it will show events starting with that date, followed by however many additional events are needed for 10 events to show. Does that make sense?
You can alter that setting in order to change the way that things display there. Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ilkka,
Before I can give some more specific advice, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

KeymasterHi Eric,
I just visited your site, and I don’t see the issue occurring again. Is there a certain situation you see the issue occur in?
In any case, as a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ricky,
I’m not sure if you saw my previous reply, but I’m not seeing any screenshot attached. Would you mind re-attaching it?
I also visited your site and received a 500 error, so I was unable to check out your issue there.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Mark,
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you all of the views and templates that can be edited. Start off by taking a look at the single-event.php and modules/meta/map.php templates.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Nancy,
Thanks for providing me with this information.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Luke,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately this is currently a known bug within our system that we are currently working on.
I will mark this thread as “Pending Fix” and this thread will be notified when a fix has become available.
You can also try the workaround provided by the user in the following thread:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/1-showing-when-updating-an-event/
Thank you for your patience in this process. Please let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime
