Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Alan,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
If you’d like to keep the attendees, but prevent site visitors from seeing your RSVPs, other than leaving the event as sold out, your option is to hide the RSVP with CSS. This way it will not appear on the frontend, but you will still retain all of the attendees.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Abigail,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, can you update all of your Events Calendar related plugins to their most recent versions and see if that helps?
In the meantime, I’d recommend taking a look at your stylesheets and page templates and see if altering these settings helps you to achieve the results that you are looking for:

Let me know how that goes!

KeymasterHi Gareth,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue on your site!
Can you provide me with the URL that you are trying to import, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Under Events Settings < Help is your Event Aggregator Status. Can you take a screenshot of what you see there?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Benedikt,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
After reviewing your request this essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.
With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to attempt the results that you are looking for.
If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Laura,
I’m sorry to hear that you are still having issues with this. Unfortunately we do not currently have a tutorial on how to set up Easy Cron with Event Aggregator.
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-development/
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

August 20, 2018 at 5:16 am in reply to: Can't get passed Preview. Selected events don't import. #1600986Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Kimberly,
Thanks for providing me with that information.
I imported the events from the URL that you provided without issue, so there seems to be something going on with your setup.
When you preview the URL before import, do you see the events appear there at that time?
You may also want to look at your Import Date Range Limit under Events Settings < Imports to see if changing that setting increases the range of events that are included in your import.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi William,
If you switch to a different stylesheet, like from Full Styles to Tribe Events Styles under Events Settings < Display, do you see the same issue?

KeymasterHi William,
Thank you for your response.
I asked for a fresh WordPress install because I could not replicate the issue on my own test site, with a bare install, and since you have customizations and other factors that can cause issues on your site, I thought it would be worth it to see if you experience the same issue without any other factors present.
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Laura,
I’m sorry to hear that you are still having issues with this. WP Crontrol doesn’t set up a real cron job, as I previously mentioned, which may be why you are seeing this issue still.
This article may also be helpful in guiding you to set up your cron jobs:

Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,

KeymasterThanks for providing me with that information. I have tried to replicate the issue that you are describing, but when I use the above shortcode, everything works as expected for me.
Can you check that you are using straight quotes (like this: ” “), and not curly quotes(like this: ” ”)?
If that isn’t it, can you try this shortcode on a fresh WordPress install and see if you get the same results?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Bobby,
Sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue.
If you try this on a fresh WordPress install, with your Eventbrite Tickets, do you see the same message appear?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
