Recently, one of our staff went in and deleted the RSVP form from one of our events, because the event was already overbooked (due to offline RSVPs).

We found that this marked all the existing attendees as “deleted”, and although we could still see all the form information in the dashboard, when we tried to export the data, the form information was missing.

A support ticket from 2015 seems to indicated the only way to hide the RSVP form on the frontend is to use CSS to hide it.
Is this still the case? Or is there an easier/better way to turn off RSVPs?

    Hi Alan,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

If you’d like to keep the attendees, but prevent site visitors from seeing your RSVPs, other than leaving the event as sold out, your option is to hide the RSVP with CSS.  This way it will not appear on the frontend, but you will still retain all of the attendees.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
