KeymasterHi Caylee,
Thanks for providing me with all of that information.
As a next step, I would recommend updating all of your Events Calendar plugins to their most recent versions and see if that helps the issue.
In addition, are you using the Eventbrite API plugin that you have by Automattic to add Eventbrite events to your site in addition to ours?
Also, can you confirm that you still see this issue with a bare WordPress install (no other plugins installed and a default WordPress theme)?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ron,
I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues with this functionality.
As a first step, can you make sure that all of your Events Calendar related plugins are up to date?
After doing so,
let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterOkay, I understand. Well keep me posted if you need any further assistance on this issue!

KeymasterHi Benedikt,
That idea may be possible with some customization.
The third-party plugin Bulk Delete looks like an appropriate option for this case, as you can delete by custom post type (events) and by custom taxonomy (event categories).
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

KeymasterHi Gareth,
If clearing the transients did work to bring back the ticket iframe, it is likely that the ticket iframe will stick around this time.
Let me know if that answers your question and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Brandon,
Thanks for trying that.
As a next troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

Ah okay, I see what you mean there. Thanks for providing that explanation.

KeymasterHi Joe,
Okay, I see what you mean. As the person entering in and editing the data from the backend, you can search through your events by keyword. You can also sort through your events in the backend by start date, end date, and a variety of other filters.
In addition, you may also be interested in our Advanced Post Manager plugin (it’s free), where you can add custom filters to search through your events.

KeymasterHi Joe,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
With the Tribe Bar that comes with The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, you can search by Date, Near Location, and Keyword (which pulls from event titles and descriptions).
If you’d like further options, you can purchase the Filter Bar plugin, which provides many additional filters for users to search through events, like categories, time of day, and any other custom filter.
Also, feel free to check out our demo site here.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThanks for providing me with that information.
I still have not been able to replicate this issue.
Can you try doing things backwards, and start with a default theme and our plugins installed, and then add in other plugins one at a time, to see if there is a conflict there?
Can you please also enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
And can you try downloading fresh versions of our plugins from your Downloads page?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterGreat, let me know!

KeymasterHi Gareth,
Thanks for providing me with that information.
As a next step, could you please flush your transients using a plugin like Transients Manager or via server, using WP-CLI? You can flush all of your transients (WordPress will repopulate them as necessary), or just the one associated with our plugin: “tribe_aggregator_origins”.
Sometimes this transient caches the response from our server informing that your license is still not present/activated in your site, even though it is.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Marcus,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Can you provide me with some screenshot of how your events look like on the backend, so that I can confirm if what you are experiencing is related to the current bug that we are currently working on?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Andrew,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I tried the keyword “first aid” in List View and did see results appear. Are you still experiencing this issue?
If so, can you provide me with some more details about how to replicate this issue?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Brandon,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, can you try deleting the plugin and re-download from your Downloads page. From there, you can use the Manual Updates process to add the plugin back in.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime
