ModeratorHello,
I’m really unsure on how to hide it without dedicating too much time on the matter. You might try reviewing our Using Chrome Developer Tools to see if you can identify the CSS class/ID and hide it using
display: none;Let me know how it works out and if you need a visual example of using the ‘Inspect’, check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video. Cheers!
Hunter
ModeratorThank you 🙂
The screenshot you shared with me doesn’t appear to be a recurring event that has 2 different events on the same day. Can you track down an event that fits this description and send a screenshot of the ‘Time & Date’ section?
Can you test again on your live site, but
please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply. It would also be helpful if you could create a fresh WordPress site with only The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO installed/activated and see if you’re able to reproduce the issue. Make sure you have WP_DEBUG set to true and have the browser console open to see if any errors display and share anything you find with me.
Once I have that information, I’ll have much more to compare to the logged notes to see if your issues are relative to any logged bugs or if we’ve uncovered another one. Thanks and have a great evening 🙂

ModeratorThank you for confirming that. It appears there is a conflict with the Tribe Search Bar’s autocomplete feature, so I logged a bug report and added this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. I don’t have a precise date when it will be available nor any temporary workaround, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

ModeratorHello,
Glad to see you’ve figured it out. We’re an open book when it comes to how you feel we can improve, so I’ll leave this thread open. Please take this opportunity to share any links where documentation may have been misleading or incorrect and I’d be more than happy to make sure we get them taken care of.
I’m also going to loop in Barry, the head of the support team, so he can review your input and hopefully shed more light on the matter. Thank you for letting me know you’ve got everything resolved for the time being and have a great rest of your week. Cheers 🙂
Hunter
ModeratorThanks for sharing that! And thanks again for your patience while we get this issue resolved. Have a great rest of your week and standby for update information. Cheers 🙂

ModeratorThank you for sharing further details with me – I’m sure they’ll come in handy for the devs and QA testers as I mentioned before. I also notice you’re running versions 4.3.5 for all plugins. If you have not updated to versions 4.4.2 for TEC, PRO, ET, and ET+, it’s recommended you do so to avoid potential conflict.
The fix for your initial issue is still being worked on, so hang tight while we iron out the kinks. Thanks for your patience and have a great rest of your week 🙂

ModeratorCould you possible share your functions.php file with me? Pastebin.com is a free tool where you can paste the code and share a link with me. Feel free to send it as a private reply.
Thanks 🙂

ModeratorThank you for the update 🙂
I went ahead and attempted to reproduce the behavior on my test site but I’m not running into any issues. Can you send a screenshot of your WordPress > Settings > General > Timezone, Events > Settings > General > Timezone Settings, and Events > Settings > Display > Date Format Settings screens?
Would you mind testing again on your test site, but please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.
Lastly, could you set up a fresh WP install and attempt to reproduce the behavior once more? Make sure you’re doing this test on a completely new website. This would be extremely helpful, so please let me know if it’s possible and if so, what the results are. Make sure WP_DEBUG is set to true and you’ve got your ‘Inspect’ browser console open and share any errors/notices you see.
Thanks again for your patience and rest assured we’ll get any conflicts identified, logged, and squashed as soon as possible. I imagine after I hear back from you I’ll have a pretty good idea what’s going on. Have a great rest of your day! Cheers 🙂

ModeratorHi and welcome back,
Sorry to see you’re having troubles with recurring events. Would you mind selecting ‘Edit Series’ for the following event and sending a screenshot of the ‘Time & Date‘ section: https://www.tadl.org/event/preschool-story-hour-10/2017-03-01/
I’ll go ahead and see if I can reproduce the behavior and compare my findings along what you’ve shared with me to our logged bug reports. Thanks and have a great rest of your day!

ModeratorHey Darren!
For these types of support requests, you’ll need to gain access to the account and make a post in the premium plugin support forums. We are unfortunately unable to provide technical support in the Pre-Sales Questions Channel.
I know this is not the ideal situation, so please contact your marketing agency to see if they can help in getting you the credentials so we can provide further assistance. Thanks for understanding and have a great day.
Cheers!

ModeratorHello and welcome to our Pre-Sales Questions Channel! Thank you for considering our plugins for your upcoming event. I would be more than happy to help answer your questions.
– One Master User that can add/remove/edit its own events and events from others
Short answer: yes! We adhere to the standard WordPress roles and capabilities. For more information, please take a moment to review our Admin roles and permissions tutorial. Let me know if this helps address your question.
– Several event organisers that can add/remove/edit their own events
Short answer: yes! You would need Community Events if you wanted to allow users to submit events from the front end of your website.
Master User can create bundles to sell packages with several events from other organisers.
There is an extension available through WooCommerce which you might need to purchase in order to create and sell bundles. This feature is not currently available in our plugins and my best guess is we won’t pursue it due to an existing solution already available. However, we welcome suggestions with open arms at our UserVoice Feature Ideas page!
– Master user can add product(s) to the bundles/packages (food, etc..). Inventory has to be connected to the events to avoid double bookings
This would most likely require some additional plugins and/or custom development which we’re unable to provide. We’re constantly incorporating the most popular requests from our UserVoice Feature Ideas, so again, take a moment and upvote/submit your feature request!
If you review our New User Primer: Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus tutorial, it gives you a general idea on what features are included and how to use them, including Making tickets, Collecting attendee information, and managing your orders and attendees.
– Users visiting the page can buy more than one event at the same time, like “add to the basket” functionality.
Short answer: yes! Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus would allow users to add as many tickets to their online cart before checking out.
Since you might need multiple plugins, be sure to check out our Bundles page before purchasing them individually. Doing so will save you some money!
Lastly, we offer a 30-day money back Refund policy which allows for ample time to test-drive the plugins to see if they’ll accommodate your needs.
Please let me know if I’ve sufficiently addressed your questions and feel free to reply back with any more you might have. Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks again for considering our plugins for your event. Cheers!
