    Hello!

First off, thank you for your purchase and welcome to our premium plugin support forums! I’d be happy to help further assist. If you haven’t already reviewed our Themer’s Guide, please take a moment and do so as it’s the most useful resource we have relating to creating and saving custom templates. The technical docs section of the website is also helpful in tracking down this kind of information.

Without digging too much on the subject, I opened up /the-events-calendar/src/views/month/content.php and on line 21 it uses the following code to display the ‘Events’ text you’re seeking:

Give that a shot and let me know how it works out and we’ll continue investigating should that be the case. I do want to point out that we’re limited on what we can cover on the support forums, but I’d be happy to help make sure this particular answer gets addressed. Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article for more information on the matter.

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day. Cheers!

    Hi Paul,

We’ve got a feature report logged aimed to include the ability to display past events in Map view when using shortcodes, but I don’t have a concrete date/time on when it will be available. I’ll include this forum thread to the logged report which helps increase attention on the matter. Please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

    Hi Michael,

Sorry to see you’re having troubles with the Photo view. Can you confirm you have the ‘Skeleton Styles’ option selected under Events > Settings > Display > Basic Template Settings? If so, please set it to ‘Tribe Events Styles’ and change your Events template setting to ‘Default Events Template’ and see if that solves the issue for you.

Thank you and have a great rest of your day. Cheers πŸ™‚

Thanks for sharing that, I had included that in my logged bug report as well πŸ™‚

Thanks again for your patience! Have a great weekend ahead.

Not necessarily. The language file shipped with the plugin will often be slightly out of date. And sometimes even the latest language file that’s downloadable here is not complete:
    http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects

You can click on a plugin to see each language available and what percent of the strings are translated. The good news is, German is one of the most complete languages!

Let me know if this helps and should you run into any issues with translation, we’re here to help where possible πŸ™‚

    Hi and welcome back,

I apologize I misunderstood what you meant, it’s sometimes easy to get confused without being able to elaborate as you would in person or over the phone, for example. After going over the screenshot for a second time I do see you’re correct (I was WAY off!), so again I apologize for any frustration I might have caused on your end.

I double-checked to see if I was getting 404 errors when attempting to visit the second event taking place on any date containing two events but everything appears to be working correctly for me. Please take a minute and check out this screencast I made going over my findings.

There are some open bug reports relative to recurring events, but there doesn’t appear to match anything you’re experiencing at this time. This doesn’t mean there is not a bug affecting your site, it simply means I’d need more information from you in order to log a full report.

If you’re still interested in troubleshooting the matter, follow the instructions as explained in my last response and let me know what you find through WP_DEBUG and the browser error console. Thanks again and have a great day.

Thanks to the both of you for further clarifying. I was not saying the updates would address the issue at hand, I was emphasizing it’s always best to stay updated with the latest releases to avoid additional conflict. I hope this clears up any confusion I may have introduced in my last response πŸ™‚

Thank you for sharing the link with me. Try removing line 264, which contains the following code, then save your changes and let me know how it works:

    Hi Leo πŸ™‚

Thank you for considering our plugins for your project and welcome to our Pre-Sales Questions channel! I would be more than happy to help answer your questions.

    1) If I want to sell ticket for offline IT-Courses on my homepage, do I need
both the Events Calendar Pro and the Event Tickets Plus?

Yes! You would need The Events Calendar (free), Events Calendar PRO (premium), Event Tickets (free), and Event Tickets Plus (premium) in order to sell tickets for any courses you’d like to offer.

    2) How can I make the output text of both completely in German?
I see that German has been to 100% translated. How can I activate it then?

I’ll share any relative documentation to translations below. Please take a moment and review them and if you have any additional questions, send them on over πŸ™‚

    3) Is there β€œa volume based discount” Feature?
This mean when I give a discount of 15% if a customer pay two or more tickets
Then this 15% discount should be applied automatically when a User choose 2 or more tickets.

We don’t have a built-in feature which allows for volume-based discounts, but the Product Bundles WooCommerce extension might do the trick. You can check out all the available WooCommerce extensions here. It might also be a good idea to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas to see if anyone has suggested this feature to be implemented in a future feature release. If so, feel free to upvote it! If you don’t find anything, go ahead and submit a request for the features you want/need!

    4) For the invoice, can I create my own template so that the invoice generator use it for each customer?

Absolutely! You can essentially customize any aspect of our plugin, including invoice templates! Please review our Themer’s Guide for more information on the matter.

If you haven’t already reviewed the New User Primer: Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus tutorial, I recommend doing so as it essentially goes over how the ticketing plugins work, what settings/features are included, collecting attendee info, managing orders and attendees and so on.

We offer a 30-day money back refund policy which allows ample time to test-drive the plugins to ensure they’re going to work for your project! I hope I’ve sufficiently answered your questions and please let me know if you need any more assistance. Thanks again for considering our plugins for your site(s) and have a wonderful weekend ahead!

    Cheers πŸ™‚

    Hi Michelle,

Sorry to see you’re having troubles importing events. Can you test again, but please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the β€˜Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply. I’ll take what you share with me and compare it to our list of known issues to see if anything matches up.

I do want to point out we’re limited in providing support with themes and plugins by other authors. Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article for more info.

Thanks and have a great afternoon!

    Hey Martin πŸ™‚

Thank you for posting to our premium plugin forums! Before we go any further, can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings?

What I typically do in these instances is use my ‘Inspect’ tool to identify CSS classes/IDs and test any changes in the browser before applying them. Please review this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video if you’re unfamiliar with the process. Our Using Google Chrome Developer Tools tutorial is also helpful.

Once I’ve got that information, I’ll have a better idea on how to proceed. Whether you’re being affected by any known issues or it is something new, we’ll act accordingly. Thanks again and have a great afternoon!

I believe it applies for Week view only, but try it out and if it doesn’t work for List view, I’ll see what I can come up with. I reached out to the developers for insight but haven’t heard back, so let me know what you find out and we’ll go from there. Thanks πŸ™‚

Thank you for sharing all that info with me. I created an import based on the screenshots you sent over. As you can see, the events imported correctly during the initial import:

Once the import ran again, it looks like everything went well:

Can you confirm the behavior occurs after reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide? If you have already tested as explained in the aforementioned guide, it might be best you set up a fresh WordPress installation where you can fully troubleshoot the issue. Make sure you have only the default WordPress theme and The Events Calendar installed and activated on the test site.Β Please review ourΒ Using One License for Live and Dev SitesΒ and Moving Your License Keys tutorials for more information.

Please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the β€˜Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. I also recommend doing this on your live site to see if any errors/warnings display. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.

Thank you and please keep me updated with your findings. Cheers!
