ModeratorWelcome back,
Thank you for sending over those files. Can you please confirm you reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings? I won’t be able to troubleshoot myself until I have the results back.
Thanks for understanding and have a pleasant Friday afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Dave,
Welcome back. I attempted to reproduce the behavior on my test environment but was unable to do so. I see you checked ‘Yes’ to reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all plugins other than ours, but can you please confirm this? Please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings.
If you’ve done that, it would be best to set ‘wp_debug‘ to ‘TRUE‘ on your wp-config.php file to see if any errors display at the top of the page when you press the Previous/Next Events buttons.
Let me know the results and we’ll go from there. Thanks for reaching out and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHi Christophe,
Thank you for posting and welcome back. I checked to see if I experienced the same behavior on my local test environment but the Event Categories section is displaying on my Community Events Submit Event form.
I see you checked ‘Yes’ to reverting back to the default theme and deactivating all plugins other than ours as recommended in the Testing for conflicts guide, but can you please confirm this?
I have a hunch you’ve got an override for the Submit Event template using outdated code in your theme folder, so the Testing for conflicts guide will determine this. Thanks again and have a wonderful afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHi Jennifer,
Welcome back and sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues. Before we proceed, can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings?
Once we have the results, I’ll take that info and test the issue myself in addition to reviewing the logged bug reports. If there is a bug, we’ll find it and get it addressed in an upcoming maintenance release.
Thank you and have a good afternoon π

ModeratorPhilipp,
I believe you should be able to include categories using the format you’ve bolded in your response (more info here):
CATEGORIES:category,category2If you haven’t already tried it, please do so and let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for reaching out and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHi Stefano,
Thank you for reaching out and welcome back.
When I I install the plugin the other parts of the site do not work.
Can you elaborate on what does not work properly when TEC/PRO is installed and activated on your site? I’ll also need you to confirm you reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you find out.
I would first recommend you enable ‘wp_debug‘ to ‘TRUE‘ on your wp-config.php file and use the ‘Inspect’ tool as outlined in this YouTube video.
Thanks again and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorMatthias,
Welcome back. Would you mind sending over the calendar URL you’re attempting to import and I’ll try reproducing the behavior? In the mean time, review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you find out.
Thank you and have a wonderful afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorMarc,
Welcome and thank you for the kind words! I would be happy to help assist. I’ve included a plugin at the end of this response which helps clean up the duplicate recurring events. It will appear in your WP Admin > Tools after you’ve installed and activated it.
I notice you’re running outdated versions of our plugins. Can you please update to the latest versions released and review the Testing for conflicts guide to see if you can reproduce the issue?
I recall a bug similar to what you’ve described, but I believe it was recently addressed in a maintenance release. Please keep me updated on the status of your issue and have a great evening. Cheers!

ModeratorHi and welcome back π
Since yesterday there are no photos imported with the aggregator. It worked fine from the beginning, but now there is nothing and when i look at the event on Facebook there i see a photo and have to grab it from there.
Can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings?
p.s. and how is the situation with with the Google maps that donβt show up activated? any news?
Can you elaborate on this a little more? We have a few logged bug reports relating to Google Maps and I want to ensure I provide an accurate response.
I look forward to your response and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Christopher,
Welcome back and thank you for including the video of your issue. Before we proceed, can you please confirm you also reverted back to the default WP theme and deactivated all plugins other than ours as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide?
We need to rule out a theme conflict before I can test to reproduce the issue. From recent testing for other user’s issues, I have not experienced the behavior seen in your video and I’m not aware of any logged bugs reporting similar behavior, so let me know about the results from the Testing for conflicts guide and we’ll pick things up from there.
Thanks again and I look forward to your response. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Larry,
No worries! I’m happy I could help and please feel free to open a new thread if you have any more questions or comments. Enjoy the rest of your week!
Hunter
ModeratorLet’s set that issue aside for the moment and focus on the requests I made in my last response. In the case that I can’t confirm a bug, we have a recommended list of customizers that can help troubleshoot further. Thanks and I look forward to getting that info so we can hopefully get this resolved. Have a great rest of your evening.
