no photo import from Facebook since yesterday

    Since yesterday there are no photos imported with the aggregator. It worked fine from the beginning, but now there is nothing and when i look at the event on Facebook there i see a photo and have to grab it from there.

    How can we fix this?

    p.s. and how is the situation with with the Google maps that don’t show up activated? any news?

    Can you elaborate on this a little more? We have a few logged bug reports relating to Google Maps and I want to ensure I provide an accurate response.

    Hello,

    Well I see you send me a standard answer with the testing and so.
    But I feel this aggregator is bugy somehow, because I see many errors showing up marked red (see attached photo).
    I learned one thing in the time that I work with websites and that is what did you change recently?
    The answer to that question is that I made a change in the event update authority.
    It was standard: Do not re-import events. Changes made locally will be preserved.. and I changed it to: Preserve the most recent change in each event field, whether that change occurred on my site or at the original source. (see attached photo).

    I will change it back and see if there is any change.

    I’d just like to chime in that the same thing is happening for me as well. As of Nov 10th, no pics have been imported. I’ve tried importing, re-importing, and nothing.

    As a test I created a new event on Facebook w/ image. Ran the one time import to see if possibly the aggregator would grab the image for my media library but nothing, the picture simply isn’t even being imported.

    I hope this information helps.

    Yes, today the issue is still going on and see many errors.
    I also tried to import an event using run from a customer and nothing happend.

    Also on a website of a friend of mine who I advised to buy this plugin we see the issue.
    So please look into it, because now it’s not working properly.

    Hello to the both of you,

    We require users to review the Testing for conflicts guide as it usually helps identify the cause of conflict. It also ensures the conflict is relative to our plugins as we don’t provide support for themes and plugins by other authors. More info can be in our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.

    I attempted to reproduce the issue and experienced the same behavior. It appears when PRO is active, the image doesn’t get imported from Facebook using Event Aggregator. I’ve gone ahead and logged a bug documenting the issue. We’ll update our changelogs and Release Notes, so keep an eye on your WordPress admin dashboard for info.

Please note that we are not able to give projected dates for feature and maintenance release information, so as previously mentioned stay tuned to the changelogs and Release Notes once a fix is available.

    Well it’s good to hear that you guys recognize the issue.
    I understand as well that this add-on is a new product, but when some core functions stop working just like that then I feel that this must have priority no. 1 to fix it. As we were starting to promote this big time in our community and now it brings me a lot of extra handling to fix every import.

    This issue has nothing to do with existing plugins or themes. It’s just something in the Pro version, which is also a add-on we pay for, right?
    Hope you understand this.

    I have the same issue (4.3.2) no organizer and no image on import. I do not have Pro so I don’t think that is the solution.

    This is my first purchase with TEC and already very disappointed.

    Actually, on further testing, the organize does import if I use an individual event. If I use a page and import all events, no organizer imports.

    No photos import either way

    Here is an example (ignore content, grabbed first test)

    I just imported an individual event with this plugin and yes it has loaded the photo, but yesterday I made several individual imports and they were not loaded either.
