ModeratorHi Matthias,
Welcome back! I exported some venues from one test site and imported them into another test site using the CSV import tool found under Events > Import > CSV File. I didn’t experience any issues and was able to successfully import the venues into the second test site. (see screenshot below)

If you haven’t already reviewed the Testing for conflicts guide to rule out a theme and/or plugin conflict, I would start there. Make sure wp_debug is set to ‘TRUE‘ on your wp-config.php file as well. If you need additional assistance, please refer to our list of customizers. Best of luck and take care. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Barnabas,
Welcome back. Have you tried temporarily reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all plugins other than ours to see if there a potential theme conflict going on? This will also help identify which plugin is causing the conflict if that’s the case. Please review our Testing for conflicts guide for more information.
We are unfortunately pretty limited on these types of conflicts. For more information on what’s covered, please refer to our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article. I truly apologize we can’t do more in this instance and best of luck. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Jack,
Welcome back. I recommend installing the User Role Editor plugin which will enable more power over your users. To scan tickets in, a user must be a Contributor or higher.
I hope this helps answer your question and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

Thank you for your purchase and sorry to hear you’re having troubles with Event Aggregator. If you wouldn’t mind, please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you discover.
It would also be helpful if you could include your System Information as a private reply.
Thanks again and have a wonderful evening. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Erik,
Thank you for posting and welcome to our support forums! Forgive me if you’ve tried it already, but The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin does just what you’ve described. Can you confirm whether you’ve tried it or not? If not, I encourage you to install it and see if it works for what you need.
Thanks again and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHi Dave,
Welcome to our support forums! Thank you for your purchase and the kind words! We appreciate your input on the scheduled imports. I checked our logged feature reports and there just so happens to be a ticket in here aimed to address your concerns!
I’ll link this conversation to the ticket for the developers to review while making improvements. I don’t have a date on when this feature will be released, but please refer to our Release Notes and plugin changelogs for relative info.
Thanks again and please let me know if you have any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

ModeratorHi Kate,
Welcome back. Can you elaborate and possibly provide a list of the issues you’re having for each site? It would also be helpful to include the System Information for both sites as a private reply. The more information you can provide, the better chance we’ll have at resolving your issues. Thanks and have a good afternoon.

ModeratorHey Warren,
We typically don’t support conflicts from other authors, but I went ahead and tried reproducing the behavior using the Duplicate Post plugin and everything seemed to work fine for me. I tried changing the date of a cloned event and it saved successfully.
I’d probably retry the instructions outlined in the Testing for conflicts guide to see if you can narrow down the specific source of conflict. Setting ‘wp_debug‘ to ‘TRUE‘ on your wp-config.php file might also help.
Sorry I can’t do more in this instance and best of luck finding a resolution. We have a list of customizers you can refer to if you need additional assistance. Best of luck and have a great rest of your week!

ModeratorHello Iona,
Thank you for posting to our Pre-Sales Questions channel. Based on what you’ve described, our Recurring Events sound perfect for you! You could create a set of 6 recurring events for each session, fitting any situation you can think of. For example: need to exclude a particular date from only one session? No problem!
I encourage you to read over our PRO Recurring Events Knowledgebase article for complete details. And if you get caught up along the way, our support team is standing by to assist.
In response to your question:
We need the course to disappear from the list on the start date, as it is not available to book after this. Can you please let me know how to do this?
I unfortunately can’t think of a way to do this without spending more time on the matter. We try and keep our Pre-Sales Channel clear of support requests, so please head over to The Events Calendar WordPress.org support forums for assistance and answers.
Thanks for understanding and good luck resolving your issue. Have a good day!

Thanks again and take care!

ModeratorHi and welcome 🙂
Unfortunately, the event will remain on your WordPress website after it’s been deleted from the original source. I see the validity in your concern and recommend visiting our UserVoice Feature Ideas page to submit/upvote the request.
Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you at this time. If you would like to proceed with the refund, please visit our Refunds page and we’d be happy to process that for you.
Thanks for posting to our support forums and have a great evening. Cheers!

ModeratorHello,
Welcome to our Pre-Sales Questions Channel! I’d be happy to help answer your question. I believe the route you’ve described above would not work. You would need to convert the posts to events, either manually or using a plugin such as Post Type Switcher. By doing a quick Google search, I see there are numerous examples of what you’re looking to achieve, so I don’t think it would be too difficult.
I hope this helps answer your question and please let me know if anything needs further clarification and if you have any additional questions. Thanks for reaching out and have a great rest of your week!

ModeratorHi Casper,
We are unfortunately unable to provide support through our Pre-Sales forum channel, but you can head over to The Events Calendar WordPress.org support forums for assistance and answers.
If you have a PRO license, you can log into your account and get assistance through the PRO forums. If you need to reset your password, you can do so here. This will send an email to the account used when you initially registered for the support forums.
Thanks for understanding and good luck resolving your issue. Have a good day!

ModeratorHello and welcome back,
Before we go any further, we’ll need you to reply back with the following information as requested by Cliff:
Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
I would also review our Moving to Event Aggregator Knowledgebase article to ensure you migrated in the proper fashion. I see in the first screenshot you shared with me that the plugin is requesting you deactivate Facebook Events plugin. Can you confirm you’ve done this?
Please keep me updated and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Ben,
Thank you for the response. I’d definitely keep an eye on it, but I took another look at your site again for good measure and it looks as if everything is working as designed. Have a great rest of your week and feel free to reply to this thread if anything relating to the matter comes up. If you have any new questions or concerns, feel free to create a new thread.
Enjoy the beauty AZ has to offer in the next few months. Thanks again and take care!
