MemberGood evening Grant,
I totally understand where you are coming from. I am really sorry about this unintentional and very frustrating issue. It is definitely not something we expected after testing that for compatibility with WordPress 4.5
The good news is that the issue was found and the fix is currently undergoing QA testing.
If it’s all good, I would love to release an early patch for you early next week. I realize this doesn’t make up for the lost time and efforts, but it is sincerely the best I can do.
I’ll follow-up with you on Monday as soon as I have the results.
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

MemberGood morning Christian and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I see what you mean. Here a couple of CSS rules that I believe would help:
.tribe-events-single-event-title {font-size: 22px !important;}
table.tribe-events-tickets td {
display: inline-block;
}Let me know how that goes.

If you want to hide the Google Maps link from the list view, please try adding the following CSS rule to your WordPress theme.
.events-list .tribe-events-gmap { display:none }Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood morning Pau and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are absolutely right, getting the Events Calendar to display on the home page is a huge feature request. The good news is that it is going to be part of the plugin at some point (although I cannot commit to a release date at this point).
There are a couple of ways you could do this in the meantime:
- Use a redirect plugin so that your home page redirects to the Events page
- Install and tweak the Event Rocket plugin (which is no longer supported since version 4.0 of our plugins but should get you started since it has that very feature)
- Program or hire one of our recommended customizers to program a special page template.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing with the CSV importer.
I would love to help you with this topic. This has been identified by other users as a bug which is now one of our top priorities.
What is going on is that WordPress 4.5 does not play well with the CSV import feature (but 4.4.2 does). Our apologies for the inconvenience this is causing.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.

MemberGood morning Maciej,
I absolutely understand where you are coming from.
Recurring events compatibility with WPML is a huge request from our customers.Unfortunately, as much as I’m with you in wanting this to become a reality ASAP, I cannot commit to a short term timeline.
That being said, as promised, I can guide you through the process of setting it up manually (although I am very aware that this is very far from being perfect).
Cause of the issue:
The parent post of the recurring events though and it’s translated counterpart, are registered properly in the icl_translations DB table (as a normal post would), along with their language_code.
When the recurring event posts are created in both languages, they are not sent to the icl_translations DB table (as a normal post would).
As such, they don’t get assigned a language_code, which in turn means that they do not get returned for display because, according to the table WPML uses, they “don’t exist”.
Here’s the workaround:
- Deactivating and reactivating the WPML plugin forces an entry in the icl_translations DB table FOR EACH post found in the wp_posts table.
- EACH entry created that way gets the default language assigned as its language_code.
- It’s a bit time consuming, but manually assigning the the proper language to each of the recurring events entry freshly “created” that way in the icl_translations DB table will make this work.
Again, my apologies for the inconvenience, but so far this is the best solution available.

MemberGood morning Holly,
That’s a very good question.
_ecp_custom_2 is actually not a built-in field (it was added by somebody on your end – either the theme developper or the Dev person that has worked on your website).
But based on the name, I can only imagine that this actually stands for Events Calendar Pro Custom Field 2. So this has to refer to some extra field that has been added to your Community Event form. Without seeing the whole form, I can’t know for sure, but I would be glad to look at screenshot or a URL.
Also, how do I leave off the Timezone?
You could either hide through CSS (I could give you a CSS rule if I can take a look at your website’s community page), OR I believe could hide it using Events -> Settings -> General and scrolling all the way to the bottom (there is a timezone checkbox)
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic.Just to make sure I understand correctly, are you:
- Trying to change the message of what is missing for a built-in field ?
- Trying to change the message of what is missing from a custom required field ? (that you made a required field)
If you haven’t done so already, I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/required-fields-for-events-submission-form/
Additionally, you could use the clever “replace any string” snippet found here to accomplish what you are looking for (I’m pretty sure): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Mong and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products. It’s truly appreciated.
However, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin in this premium add-ons forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar ?
With that in mind, my first recommendation would be to switch the setting found in Events -> Settings -> Display (Events template) to “Use default Page template”.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error message creeping up after the upgrade.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, could you tell me if there is a /tribe-events/ folder located in your WordPress theme’s directory ?
Finally, does the problem disappear if you temporarily switch back to a default WordPress theme ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the missing export link.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on what I can see, it looks like you have some template customization at play.
Would you mind telling me if there is a /tribe-events/ folder in your WordPress theme’s directory?Secondly, if you could do a quick test and temporarily revert back to a default WP theme such as twenty-fifteen and tell me if the button appears ?
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Emma and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. There is unfortunately no quick fix for this. You will have to do some template customization of your list widget.
Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, you might want to read our Themer’s guide as a starting point to see how that works in general.
You might also want to read the following post on a very similar topic: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-information/ and use the provided code as a starting point.
Finally, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Rob,
You have a pretty specific idea in mind (which is awesome).
But just to make sure we are on the same page, would you mind sharing a screenshot of what you consider being the event ticket view ?
If I understand correctly what you are trying to do, you either:
- Want to be able to sell VIP tickets “manually” without the public knowing they exist ?
- Are concerned is that somebody scouring the website might accidentally find the ticket product on it’s own and thus offset the global stock ?
1) You could simply hide the VIP product via CSS. Ideally, if you could set a dummy event in place (far in the future for example), I could provide you with the correct CSS.
2) That part is actually pretty safe, by default a ticket is set to not be viewable. If you are instead using a simple or variable WooCommerce product, you could also control it’s visibility directly in the product itself.
Finally, some of our customers have done some template customizations that could probably help you achieve what you are looking for (provided I understood what you are trying to do correctly).
You might want to read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/
