ParticipantDear TECPRO,
After much research, it seems difficult, if not impossible, to display the Events Calendar on the homepage.
This is a very upsetting issue, as on an events-based website it seems just logical to display events on the homepage, integrated with other banners, texts, and images. Otherwise, it fails its own purpose.
So, I would like to know if it is at all possible to have the photo display integrated at the homepage.
Im using a Divi Child theme in WP
Any help will be really appreciated, many thanks

MemberGood morning Pau and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are absolutely right, getting the Events Calendar to display on the home page is a huge feature request. The good news is that it is going to be part of the plugin at some point (although I cannot commit to a release date at this point).
There are a couple of ways you could do this in the meantime:
- Use a redirect plugin so that your home page redirects to the Events page
- Install and tweak the Event Rocket plugin (which is no longer supported since version 4.0 of our plugins but should get you started since it has that very feature)
- Program or hire one of our recommended customizers to program a special page template.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantOk, thanks
Let’s see: http://217.199.187.196/chatspalace.com/event-rocket-test-delete/
I’ve created this text page on my developer site
Is there any possible way of customizing this calendar view (or the list one) so it shows, say thumbnails and excerpts?
Otherwise, we are reaching a dead end here. And could you hint when the new feature aims to be released? As I can see im not alone holding my breath here
🙂thanks

MemberGood evening Pau,
Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
As such, this is the extent of the potential workarounds I have for you.
For now, unfortunately, the only other solution I could suggest is to hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
As for the feature in the Events Calendar, I literally do not have a date for now, but hopefully it will make the cut in one of the upcoming Feature releases.
On a personal note, I’d love that feature too!
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.
