    Good evening Lucy,

We are almost there. But here are a couple of additional pointers:

    1. You really need to get Event tickets to 4.1.2 too. If the version is not accessible within your the Events Calendar.com account, you can always get a copy here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets/advanced/ (look for the Previous Versions section)
    2. Please make sure the Events Calendar is at 4.1.2 as well https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/advanced/

As for the error message, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Hang in there!

Good evening Dylan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I have added code to the function.php file to ensure that the orders are auto completed upon payment, which works.

We typically recommend adjusting the settings under Events -> Settings -> Tickets (at the very bottom of the page) as opposed to using extra code to change the status of the order.

In WooCommerce, under Emails, there is no recipient beside ‘Tickets’

For the time being, that is normal behaviour (we are working on improving that aspect too).

But what is not normal is your tickets not being sent.

When something like this happens, the best solution is to have the system send tickets from any chosen real email address by simply installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether.

Please make sure you configure and test the settings using the plugin’s built-in tool.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Tom and welcome back!

First off kudos for finding the solution to that issue.

We will absolutely take you up on your suggestion and update the Knowledge base accordingly.
Also point taken about the separate menus for Events Help and Events Settings. I will relay this to the powers that be.

in reply to: How to activate ticket fieldsets? #1401720

Good evening Anna and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I have added few ticket fieldsets but I am not sure how to add them to the tickets? Should they appear automatically?

The following article gives you the breakdown on a to use a pre-saved ticket fieldset: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/

You can also create the fieldset on the fly.

If there also an option to add dependencies in them ( depending on what was chosen in one- the other may or may not display?)

Not at this point, but please cast your vote as well as look at the temporary workaround we offer here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/16633027-conditional-fields

We have found perfect solution for this by using Woocommerce checkout field editor pro – but it looks like there may be a conflict with your plugin and the fields are not validated – so the users are unable to purchase at all.

The fields from Event Tickets Plus are actually not related to WooCommerce at all (hence the fact that they are not being validated beyond what is built-in for Event Tickets Plus – format, required or not).

The first thing you should know is that we do not fully support Event Tickets Plus integration with WPML yet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

This feature is scheduled to be released in 2018 if all goes well.

In the meantime, you could get it to partially work, but this is unsupported.

To achieve that, you will need:

    1. WooCommerce multilingual
    2. Some manual intervention

After creating the ticket AND saving the event, head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page.

Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend:

    1. Clearing WPML cache
    2. Using the button that forces language assignment to items (which is what is creating the issue). This can also be accomplished by deactivating and reactivating WPML.

Your ticket will now magically appear.

The only downside is that the tickets you create in other languages are not really translations of the initial ticket. They are completely independent new tickets.

With that in mind, some of customers have managed to customize their installs quite a bit and get things to work nicely according to their reports.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Troels,

I am glad you were able to make some progress on this.

The article you have found is a great starting point.
But there are so many more.

Here’s a collection of every Knowledge Base article we have pertaining to the Events Calendar Pro.

Feel free to read only the ones that are of interest to you of course: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/plugin/events-calendar-pro/

    Good evening Donna,

Thank you for taking the time to write back.

We are totally on the same page. This is far from ideal.

And yes, I was merely trying to offer a way to speed up event creation. On that topic, any custom post type duplicator also works, including: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-tec-event/

At this point in time the only workarounds we have involve some level of manual intervention unfortunately.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.

We will let you know the second this comes out.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Jamie,

I have been able to reproduce this specifically on my machine too.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch.

We are actively working on a solution for this.

Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.

When something like this happens, after a backup of your database, we typically recommend downgrading back to the last working version of our plugins on your site.

I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

In this specific case, downgrading to the Events Calendar Pro 4.4.18 will do the trick and buy you the time you need until an official fix is released.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
