    Good afternoon Gene,

Thank you for your answer and for providing your system information.

After further research, it looks like there is indeed a bug impacting some of our users. I want to apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.
Our dev team is working hard at making sure that saving settings is possible for everybody.

You will be contacted as soon as the fix is out.

In the meantime, I do have a rather radical way to fix this. But it is a bit involved and requires being comfortable using phpMyAdmin.

You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/eventssettingsdisplay-does-not-save/#post-1126309

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Eran,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I am not sure if you are looking to hide the tickets quantity for only a few events or if you are looking to do so on only a few events.
Depending on what the answer to that question is, the solution might vary slightly.

One quick solution would be to hide that quantity via CSS by using:

    .tribe-tickets-remaining {display:none !important;}

That will hide the quantity for all  events. If you are looking to hide only specific ones you could add a postid class at the beginning of your CSS rule.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Marios,

Thank you for your answers and for providing your complete system information.

I believe I have found the main cause of your issues with the tickets.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but currently, we do not officially support Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus with WPML.
The only 2 officially supported plugins are the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro.

That being said, we are currently working at expanding and improving WPML support.
Furthermore, some of our customers have managed to get these plugins to work with WPML, but only after several manual interventions directly in their database (using phpMyAdmin).

If you are up for that manual solution and are comfortable using phpMyAdmin, I can walk you through the steps.

Finally, if you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend taking a look at the following article to ensure maximal compatibility with our free plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good afternoon Kendall (and Benjamin) and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for the system information.

We are sorry to hear about the attendees list missing after updating to 4.2. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I will open a bug ticket immediately for this. Hopefully, a bugfix will be released quickly.

In the meantime, please note that we are slowly phasing out Woocommerce Tickets in favour of Event Tickets Plus (which also supports WooCommerce and offers many exciting features).

You will notice that you have access to this product in your downloads page.
The reason I am mentioning this is because that would most likely be the one of the quickest solutions to your current issue.

Of course, if you want to go down that road, I would recommend a complete database backup beforehand.
You also need to follow the instructions found here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/

In short at this point, you can:

    1. Roll back our plugins to version 4.1.4
    2. Upgrade to ET+
    3. Wait for the bugfix

Thank you for your patience as we are trying to figure this out.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Kyle,

I am glad that fixed it for you.
Normally you should not have to worry about updating plugins one at a time (our apologies for that).

But, to your point, sometimes it is safer to do so when plugins are interdependent.

You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Good afternoon to all,

Until an official bugfix is released, please try adding the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php

Good evening Julie and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us, for running the tests and for the system information.

We are sorry to hear about the venue/location/address/map not showing on your events calendar.
I would love to help you with this topic.

    Here are my first recommendations:

    1. Head over to Events -> Settings -> General and scroll all the way down to see if there is a “Merge Venues duplicate” button
    2. Head over to Events -> Settings -> Display and re-save your settings on that page
    3. Try re-saving your WordPress permalinks

If none of that works, would you mind providing us with a specific URL where this is happening as well as a screenshot of the Edit event screen for that Event.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Brandon and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for the system information.

We are sorry to hear about the tickets not being sent properly on your install.
I would love to help you with this topic.

My first recommendation would be to see if installing and configuring a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/ would help.
In other words, it takes over the WPmail method and uses a valid email address instead. In a lot of cases that fixes this type of issue.

Let me know how that goes.

Secondly, I believe the documentation you are looking for is:

    1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-event-tickets/
    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-event-tickets/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear that you seem to be unable to save your settings properly. This is certainly a bug on your install.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Secondly, could you tell me if you recently upgraded to the latest version of our plugins or if this is on a fresh install ?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry that the translations are still missing.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I have successfully located the ticket attached to this request that is assigned to the maintenance release cycle.
Although I unfortunately cannot give you a release date at this point, I will follow up on this.

Furthermore, we are currently looking at improving our multiple language support for our customers in every possible language.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work on that.

Secondly, to your knowledge, do you know if there are any template customizations in your WordPress theme (typically through your functions.php file or through a /tribe-events folder).

Finally, would you have any objection to upgrade your version of WooCommerce if required (after a backup of course) ?

Good evening Kyle and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing your system information.

We are sorry to hear about the PUE error message and for all the inconvenience it might have caused.
I would love to help you with this topic.

This has happened to some of our users while updating the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro simultaneously.

Normally, if you deactivate both plugins and reactivate them one at a time (starting with the Events Calendar then the Events Calendar Pro), the message should disappear and everything should run smoothly.

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening Sumaiya,

I ran a couple of tests to try to replicate the issue where new redirects are being created when adding featured images while creating events.
Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this issue.

At this point, your best options would be to apply my previous suggestion if you are comfortable with phpMyAdmin in wp_options (after a backup and after deactivating the redirection plugin temporarily)

I realize this is less than perfect since it means that you will have to recreate all of your redirections manually, but it should do it.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Joanna,

I ran several tests with your theme installed to try to replicate the issue where you cannot change the default state of the filters.
Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue.

After a database backup, you might want to consider updating to the latest version of our plugins to see if that might help with that specific issue.
While you do that, I would recommend updating the Events Calendar Pro after the Events Calendar.

If that still does not work, I might have a workaround for you (if you are comfortable with phpMyAdmin).

Additionally, could you tell me if my suggestions on the initial issue were helpful ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
