    Good evening Barry,

Just a quick follow-up to let you know that since our latest maintenance release (4.2.3), the Try to set the status of new ticket orders to “complete” automatically should now work as expected under Events -> Settings -> Tickets.

    Best regards,

Good evening Rob and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

would it be possible to include a ‘view all X events’ at the bottom (like the month view) if you click on a day which has >5 events?

That’s a great question. As it turns out, the very architecture of our plugin has been thought out to allow customization.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically, by tweaking the month view in your own version of it (under the /tribe-events/ folder of your WordPress theme), you should be able to achieve just that.

As a starting point, you can start by reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/show-all-events-on-all-days/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Alex and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

I am looking for some help setting up the calendar so that multiple users can come in and add calendar events.

To do that, you will need to grab a copy of our Community Events add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/

The installation process is pretty straightforward as you can see here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-events/

A user would have a log in and only the ability to reserve time on the calendar. Are there features within the plugin to do this, or do I need to setup separate WP logins?

These features (and more) are all found in the above add-on. That being said, a lot of people enjoy using that plugin in combination with a third-party plugin such as theme my login (to have more control over the login screens and stay in the front-end).

That being said, if you also need the users to be able to add and sell tickets, you will require 2 extra add-ons: Events Tickets Plus and Community Tickets.
The good news is that they come in a bundle which will save you some money and give you access to our Filter Bar add-on on top of it all.

    Check it out here: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-community-manager/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Allen and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the QR Codes not displaying in your emails.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As Neil kindly pointed out, this is probably caused by your email client, firewall or anti-virus blocking remote images.

But, just to be extra sure, I’d like to dig deeper.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Good evening David and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your question.

Can you please tell me if I would be able to integrate Event Tickets Plus to allow the payment gateway to use the existing Moneris gateway configured in WooCommerce ?

    That’s a great question.

Event Tickets Plus actually hands over all of the payment process over to WooCommerce.
That means that as long as a payment gateway works with WooCommerce you can use Event Tickets Plus with it.

So in other words, there is no real integration to be done if you already have the proper Moneris payment gateway plugin in place, it will work!

Let me know if that helps.

Good evening Skiwi and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Taking a look at their website, the way to achieve equal height for each box of the photo view requires:

    • Fixed height for the description area
    • Titles and details that never go over 2 lines
    • Limited number of characters in the excerpt area

As I don’t have the exact URL of your website, it’s hard to give you a precise CSS rule that will work on your website.
But I can give you theirs as a starting point:

    .tribe-events-list-photo-description {
    height: 140px;
    }

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hello again Hendrik,

I am sorry to hear that you had to spend so much time doing tests.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

I am not quite sure why this happens on your install (I should have a better idea with the system information and the URL).
On my end, the only case where the arrows to do not appear is when there is actually no events for the following or the previous week.

Hang in there as we try to figure this one out!

    Have a good week-end,

Good evening Matthew and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for the system information.

We are sorry to hear that you are not able to display the next/previous arrows on your site.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first step, could you point me towards an URL where the mini-calendar widget is in place ?

The reason I am asking is because I am noticing a small calendar on the home page of your website, but it doesn’t seem to stem from our widget.

Secondly, I am noticing that your install is using PHP 5.2.x .

If you get a chance, I would highly recommend upgrading to PHP 5.4+ ( WordPress  actually recommends 5.6+, but 5.4+ is fine).
There have been several weird behaviours reported with older versions of PHP, so it’s totally worth a shot in my opinion.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Tamara and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to display images on the event page and in the confirmation email.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I believe there might have been a misunderstanding on this one. I want to apologize for that.
As you found out, the images to both Organizers and venues are indeed available.

But, out-of-the-box, only when you click on the links to their details.

That being said, you could totally add the actual images to both the single event view AND the confirmation email.

In order to do that, you will need a simple template customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically what you need to do here is:

    1. Create a /tribe-events/ folder in your Child Theme directory
    2. Make a copy of the single-event view
    3. Steal the code that displays the pictures in the single organizer and in the single venue view
    4. Add them to the single-event view

Once that is done, you could simply repeat the same process for customizing the email sent.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening  Michael and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with these questions.

    – How can I change the mail address from where Event Ticket sends the confirmation email of the registered ticket (instead of “wordpress@…..com” a personal one)?

By default, WooCommerce uses WordPress default email address as you found out.

Your best bet would be to use and configure a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

You might also want to take a look at the settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Email.

    – How can I force the number of tickets an attendee can reserve through RSVP?

You could accomplish that via a snippet in your child theme’s functions.php

Check these articles out 2 different solutions:

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Jaime and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about that error message.
I would love to help you with this topic.

That error message typically pops-up when:

    1. Our free the Events Calendar plugin is not installed (it is required to run the Events Calendar Pro). Here’s more info on that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downloading-and-installing-the-plugin/
    2. The free plugin is installed but not activated
    3. The free plugin has not been upgraded to the latest version

Good morning Karen and welcome back!

Thank you for writing back with the results of your findings.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I will certainly relay your findings to Dev as a first step.

That being said, as I was looking at your previous thread, something caught my eye (which might be related or not).

I did notice that you are still using Event Rocket. Although this was an awesome plugin, it has not been updated in a long time and it’s known to cause several issues with the Events Calendar plugins 4+.

I would certainly recommend deactivating the plugin to see if that helps.

I will get back to you with my findings once I hear back from Dev.

    Have a good week-end,

    Good morning Nathaniel,

    That is a great question.

The best way to go about this would be to find out where the error / conflict is coming from.

I would recommend going through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

I realize this is time consuming, but it should allow us to get all the glitches out of the way 🙂

Let me know how that goes.

Good morning Jordan and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would love to help you with this topic.

Normally, the easiest way to accomplish this would be via the Advanced Template Settings found in Events -> Settings -> Display.

However, since your needs are pretty specific (only future events in a specific category), you will have to accomplish this via a template customization.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically, you will have to modify the single-event view to add the text when your required conditions are met.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
