MemberGood morning James and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The short answer to your question is no, it’s not yet available. We are also looking forward to this feature, as we believe it will be quite the game changer.
We absolutely understand that this is time consuming for many of our customers and we are taking this matter very seriously.I just checked our release schedule and it does look like this is planned for before the end of the year, as this is a pretty coding intensive endeavour.
I unfortunately cannot offer a more precise date at this point.Hang in there as we make this a reality.
Best regards,

MemberGood morning Allison,
Thank you for writing back and for running the tests.
It appears that you link to the theme is not visible in your previous reply. Would you mind trying again ?
That being said, provided that the issue persists with a default WordPress theme, it looks like the issue might be caused by a plugin conflict (since I am unable to reproduce the issue on a basic install).
As such, the next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
I realize this is time consuming, but it is truly the fastest way to get to the bottom of the issue and make sure you can enjoy a fully working site once again.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood morning Andrea and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry that your original thread closed. This sometimes happens when it is inactive for a while (our zealous support droids do that).
I would love to help you with this topic.I totally agree with you. When you pay for plugins, they should work as expected.
With that in mind, I researched this very topic for you and the good news is that a fix was indeed released as part of our 4.0.7 maintenance release.
If that is still not working on your end, there are a couple of reasons why that might be:
- For this to work PHP must be compiled with a version of OpenSSL that support TLS v1.1 and v1.2 on your install (as per PayPal’s requirement)
- This can be checked with:
php -i | grep "Registered Stream Socket Transports" - It should return a result like this: “Registered Stream Socket Transports => tcp, udp, unix, udg, ssl, sslv3, tls, tlsv1.0, tlsv1.1, tlsv1.2”
- Some servers or local installs (e.g.: Mac OSX) do not necessarily pre-compile PHP with SSL in the right spot either.
- You can typically fix this with brew
brew install openssl
brew tap homebrew/dupes
brew tap homebrew/versions
brew tap homebrew/homebrew-php
brew install php56 --with-homebrew-openssl
(then follow the instructions)
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Andrew and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the recurring event process being stuck! That’s horrible.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on the system information you have provided, it looks like you are still using 4.2.2 for some reason.
I am not sure why there seems to be a discrepancy on that end, but it would be worth checking out. There are however a couple of solutions at hand:
- Please install the following plugin and manually trigger the recurrence rebuilder: recurrence-rebuild-helper
- If you indeed do have 4.2.3 installed (in spite of the system info), please re-save the faulty event
To answer your question, there is code in 4.2.3 that targets specifically uncooperative recurrences. So upgrading would help as long as you are able to re-save the events that have gone “out of control”.
But, if it were up to me, I would do the following 2 things prior to upgrading:
- Try running the plugin suggested above to stop the recurring event process and clean it
- If that does not work, delete the event in question, run the plugin again, upgrade and recreate the deleted event
We apologize for the inconvenience, but I believe one of the suggested solutions above should put an end to your current issue.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberHey Kate,
Thank you for writing back.
I am sorry to hear you ran in such a negative experience. Yikes, that’s pretty terrible!1. thought I should let you know that maybe you shouldn’t be recommending the plugin? (Especially as their site forum doesn’t seem to be very supportive with multiple threads complaining and not being answered)
That’s a fair point. To be fully transparent, I have used and I am still using this plugin on my websites all the time with great success.
Usually people end up using email accounts tied to their domain name with this plugin (e.g.: [email protected]). I also know that many people have successfully used their Gmail account instead.
As much as I understand how frustrating this can be, I am not sure why that happened. Perhaps Google has tightened up it’s security rules ? Maybe there is something that went wrong in the security approval process ? (too many attempts).
It’s hard to know for sure, but I am pretty sure the good folks at Google would know.
Based on your feedback, I would definitely caution people against using their Gmail account in combination with that plugin. But I would still recommend this plugin alongside an email address tied to their domain.
2. Have you got another fix?? I use hostgator at the moment for hosting, is there a hoster that you could recommend that would let me have access to emails… or if I talk to hostgator will they be able to sort?
The issue here seems to be that hostgator does not let WordPress send emails directly (probably because of their security policies).
The plugin I suggested (or another one that does the same thing) is the best solution and should work under any environment.
I would recommend using an email address created with Hostgator and configure the plugin to use that email address. There are absolutely no reason why that should not work since from HostGator’s perspective, that will be like you are logging in to use the said address.
That being said, you might still prefer to change web hosts. All the web hosts I work with on a regular basis handle this aspect just fine: Media Temple, Siteground, wpengine, etc…
Let me know what you decide and if you need help setting up the plugin with an email address created with your domain name.
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

MemberBonjour Jean-Philippe,
Ex: http://www.moncamp.3ejoueur.com/event/kayak-de-riviere-semaine-7/

MemberGood morning Milan,
It looks like something went wrong with your latest reply.
As suggested before, you might want to use something as dropbox and simply send me the link to a .zip file containing your theme (since it is highly likely that your theme files will be too big to post directly.
Best regards,

Est-ce que vous avez d’autres questions à ce sujet aujourd’hui ?

MemberGood morning Joseph,
Thank you for writing back and for sharing your system information.
I would recommend using CSS rule such as this one to change the background colour of Sundays on the mobile version of the calendar.
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
#top .main_color #tribe-events-content .tribe-events-calendar td:first-child {
background: #333 !important;
}
}Of course, you can change the colour and the actual width at which this rule kicks in.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood morning Krystyna,
Thank you for writing back.
I’m glad the CSS trick worked for you.As for sharing the theme with me, Dropbox (or any similar service) will work fine (email is not an option unfortunately).
What you need to do is:- Have an account on dropbox.com (they are free)
- Drag and Drop your theme file (after compressing it in a .zip format) in your account.
- Wait that the file finishes uploading.
- Send me the link to that file (via a reply here)
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The good news is that the date display is completely customizable. At least to the extent of the different WordPress date formats that is.
You can read more about date formats here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_TimeYou will find the setting for this under Events -> Settings -> Display
In your specific case, it looks like you’ll simply need to remove the “S” from the format.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
