MemberGood evening Brian,
I totally understand where you are coming from.
I wish this bug was already corrected. I am truly sorry it could not get the required attention since June.As stated in my previous answer, being very sensitive to translation related issues, I will follow-through on this to make sure it gets solved in the timeliest fashion possible.
Realistically, this will probably go after the next feature release (4.3) of our plugins.
Thank you for your understanding and great patience, it’s truly appreciated.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening. Sarah,
Thank you for writing back and for your fantastic words.
It’s truly appreciated.Secondly, kudos on finding a conflict between the customizer and Visual Composer. It’s mostly due to our great customers feedback that we are able to provide support.
We will look more into that specific matter for sure and let you know when a fix is out.
In the meantime, your workaround should totally work, although I realize it’s far from ideal.
As for your second request, I would like to offer you to learn “how to fish”. Please read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
Basically, you can inspect any element with the Google inspector and find exactly what CSS rule to change. You can even try your changes on the fly!
Let me know if that helps ?
Have a good weekend!

MemberGood evening Jennifer,
Thank you for writing back and providing all the required info.
You are 100% right, this is a bug! More specifically, it looks like exclusions are not being honored in the case of all day events. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this is causing.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, which in turn helps us make our product better.
At this point, I cannot commit to a release date for the fix, but I can promise you that you will be contacted as soon as the fix is out.
Best regards,

MemberHey Stephen,
Thank you for writing back and for being willing to give this a shot.
It’s actually not that bad. It’s all about temporarily deactivating all plugins except ours and reverting back to a default WordPress theme and seeing if the issue persists.
If the issue disappears, then you reactivate the plugins one at a time, finishing up with your WordPress theme until you find the one that “breaks” the navigation.
That being said, kudos on finding a workaround!
Let me know how that goes and have a great weekend,
Geoff B.

MemberThank you for the screenshot Peter.
It looks like there is a issue with the date picker in the Tribe search bar on your install.
If you don’t mind, could you please open a separate thread for this ?
There are a couple of reasons for this:
- This is a very different issue than the original recurring event issue (which I believe is no resolved).
- As much as I love to help you out, I will unfortunately not have the appropriate ressources over the next week to investigate this correctly (as I am officially “on vacation” 🙂
Thank you for your understanding and let me know if there is anything remaining on the initial recurring events issue.
Have a great weekend,

MemberGood evening Shannon,
Thank your for the files.
Provided that you have a staging site and assuming it is a fairly similar copy of the live site, the fastest solution would be to go through our complete testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
Have a good weekend,

MemberGood evening Bart,
I believe I have found the cause of the issue.
You are only pasting the first couple of lines (up to line 11), but the snippet is 20 lines long.
Could you please try again with all the lines?
Let me know how that goes.
Have a good weekend,

MemberBonsoir Julye,
Bon weekend,

MemberGood evening Rika,
Thank you for trying the query out.
It looks like the plugin blocks the actual query from being run normally.I just tested the query with the plugin (I get the same result as you) and with phpMyAdmin (it works great).
It is a shame that your plan will not let you use a DB management tool.At this point, I would like to ask the specialist for this type of issue to chime in so that we can get to the bottom of this as fast as possible.
Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Stephen and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been experimenting with the month navigation on your calendar.
I would love to help you with this topic. At first glance, this looks like a conflict.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening,
Thank you for writing back. That is a very interesting find.
Can you confirm that the slug for the list view is translated on the staging site as well ?
As per your question, it is possible that there might be some DB update on your staging site that did not make it to your live site.
Before doing anything, I always recommend doing a Database backup. But, you might want to try to:
- Head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page
- Hit up all the buttons in the Clean Up section
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Tommy,
Thank you for writing back and sending a screenshot.
What you want to do is very clear. The category colors plugin will certainly help with the different colors.
However, to have “long slim box” event display is unfortunately not built-in and will require a customization.
Basically, there needs to be a detection of events that span over several days and specific rules on how to display them (including on mobile devices).
If that is a bit outside of your comfort zone, you can hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Finally, you can suggest that feature here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas

MemberGood evening Nathan,
Thank you for your understanding, for the system information and for the theme files.
I installed that very theme including all of it’s customization on my server and I have some good news: there is no trace of those warnings.
This leaves us with 3 possibilities:
- There is something on your staging environment that is preventing certain ressources to be loaded. Sometimes with WPengine, the staging environments are protected in several ways (e.g.: directory access)
- You might need to update your plugins to the latest version the Events Calendar 4.2.5 and Pro 4.2.3
- There is a conflict

MemberGood evening Sarah,
Thank you for the system information.
As for the theme, you are right, uploading it on this site is most likely not going to be possible.I would recommend a link to that zip file on a cloud-based platform such as Dropbox, Cloudup or Google Drive.
The only thing I see that’s a bit out of the ordinary is that you are getting the following message on your site: You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
So things seem to point to some kind of conflict (perhaps theme related).
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

MemberGood evening Leela,
Thank you for writing back.
Not sure if you already updated the block but it looks like the descriptions of the ticket are now displaying OK : )
I did not touch anything, so whatever happened, it wasn’t me 😉
Question about the updating the colors for the + and – … I seem to find that same color combo/situation elsewhere when I am going thru the event/ticket process. Is there a general place that those font and background colors were setup that I can adjust?
That’s a great question. Basically these are all WooCommerce related styles.
They are typically defined by your WordPress theme. So the first thing I would do is look at your theme options and “Customize” menu.
There is a good chance you’ll have options to tweak colour of buttons and links, maybe specifically for WooCommerce.
Sometimes it’s about choosing between the “dark” and “light” options of your theme. In any case, you can manually override every possible style via CSS.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
