My client reports that when entering a recurring event with some dates excluded the excluded dates still show.
Attached a screenshot of the setting for this event.
Is there something we can do to fix this exclusion rules issue on my client’s site?

I would love to help you with this topic.As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Could you also please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
Finally, could you send me screenshots of your WordPress and the Events Calendar timezone settings ?

Thank you for writing back and providing all the required info.
You are 100% right, this is a bug! More specifically, it looks like exclusions are not being honored in the case of all day events. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this is causing.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, which in turn helps us make our product better.
At this point, I cannot commit to a release date for the fix, but I can promise you that you will be contacted as soon as the fix is out.

Good news, I was reviewing this issue to help developers code a fix for it in the next maintenance release and it looks like it’s already fixed in the current version. I’m referring specifically to ‘exclusions not being honored in the case of all day events’.
Please update the plugins to the current version and let me know if this is true for your site (might need to re-save the event to get it working),
