MemberGood afternoon Natalia,
I am mostly stoked that the initial problem disappeared after an update.
I would advise opening up a new support thread to deal with iCal import issues (to make sure it gets addressed properly).
Keep an eye out for this one.As a side note on that secondary issue, we are very close to releasing our Event Aggregator service which you will get access to automatically as an iCal importer customer.
We have worked hard at making it super robust and user friendly. Hopefully that will help iron out any remaining glitch. You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!

MemberGood evening Abby and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. Here is what you need to do:
- Head over to Events -> Settings -> Tickets
- Make sure that the type of post you plan on using the tickets in is checked (e.g.: page)
- Create a new page (or other post type you are interested in having a ticket in)
- You should see a ticket box available in that post type, click on “Add new ticket”
- Create your ticket and make sure you check the “Add attendee information” checkbox.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Jim,
Thank you for your understanding and reply.
Actually that is a great idea. Why not open up a feature request on User Voice for this specific one ?
You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂

MemberGood evening Mickey and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Would you mind telling me which version of Divi you are using ?
The reason I ask is because I just tested the blank page template successfully with our product. In any case, I do have good news for you.
We are about to release the ability to have full calendar shortcodes for our Events Calendar Pro customers: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/This should be part of version 4.3 scheduled for release mid October.
That means that you will be able to simply paste the shortcode in the normal page of your choice, which in turn solves everything.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Rafael and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The good news is that it is most likely that the strings found on that page are already translated.
Could you tell me which language you are using ? Brazilian Portuguese ?In any case, here is a series of recommended reads on making sure your plugin languages file work properly:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/translating-the-events-calendar/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
In other words, you will need to:
- Make sure your language is set up correctly in WordPress (Settings > General)
- Check out how much of the Community Events language file has been translated in your language
- Make sure you have the latest version of the language file or at least update your language’s file from the .pot file for Community Events
- Update strings of your choice using the free Poedit software if necessary
- Upload the latest file or the updated file on your server
I can assist with any of these steps if you would like

MemberBonsoir Sébastien,
Super.
.tribe_community_edit #event_tribe_venue .saved-linked-post {display:none;}
.tribe_community_edit #event_tribe_organizer .saved-linked-post {display:none;}En espérant que le tout vous soit utile.

You are absolutely right, it looks like something is missing for this to fully work.
Our apologies.I will get back to the snippet author with this.
Hang in there as we rework this snippet.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

MemberBonsoir Eric,

MemberGood afternoon Brian and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. This is untested, but I would consider looking at the different WooCommerce abandoned cart plugins available out there. Here a few:
- https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-recover-abandoned-cart/
- https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-recover-abandoned-cart/7715167

October 6, 2016 at 11:31 am in reply to: Can I make "lower class" of events that appear on calendar but don't have page #1173435Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Yoni and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. But first, I want to apologize for the delay in answering. As it turns out your question unintentionally ended up being flagged as spam for some reason.
I am looking to create a calendar in which people can list events for free, but I want to incentive them to pay for additional functionality.
My thinking is that free events will appear on calendar but that you cannot click on the event for more details. You can merely see the event title and dates on the calendar, maybe a bit more info, but no dedicated page. And then paid events can obviously be clickable and have a full page with all details.
This is a very interesting project.
The short answer is that yes it is possible to do that, but it will require some customization to be done.
Here’s a quick breakdown of how that might work:
- You will need a copy of our Community Events Add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
- You will need to have some kind of custom field added to events to establish wether they should display fully or not
- You will need to decide how you want this custom field to be populated (manually, subscription based, etc..)
- You will need to do a template customization of the different views to prevent free events from being clickable. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
As an alternative, you can hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
