    Hi Geoff,

Continuing this topic (not sure if you can re-open the topic – would be helpful, to keep this seperate from the Category Slug topic?)

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/continued-for-geoff-b-wpml-venues-event-dates-not-carrying-over/

Using the Version 4.3rc6, I have noticed that using “Overwrite with” will successfully bring the data (venue, date etc) accross to the translation, however “Copy from…” does not.

Side note – as we have a version outside the normal update schedule, will we see “Update Avaiable” in the WordPress Plugin updates section, when your general release is out? Or does our “custom” version always think it’s the most up-to-date or something?

    Thanks

    Good evening Greg,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I will report and discuss this with the Dev and product director to see what is the best way to handle this.

To answer your second question, we released 4.3 today (after a few delays to ensure proper QA), since you are already at 4.3rc6 , I am pretty sure that will result in you not seeing the available updates.

As such, you will probably need to manually (FTP) delete the content of the plugin folders and replace them with the actual real release.

    More news tomorrow!

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.
