ParticipantWe are using Event Tickets Plus, but not The Events Calendar.
We get an Events menu item in the WordPress dashboard, but it has no sub-menu for editing the fieldsets.
Where do we find the menu item to edit these?
Thanks

MemberGood evening Abby and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. Here is what you need to do:
- Head over to Events -> Settings -> Tickets
- Make sure that the type of post you plan on using the tickets in is checked (e.g.: page)
- Create a new page (or other post type you are interested in having a ticket in)
- You should see a ticket box available in that post type, click on “Add new ticket”
- Create your ticket and make sure you check the “Add attendee information” checkbox.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantUnder my Events menu, I have the submenus: Settings, Help, Event Add Ons
Under Settings->Tickets tab I don’t see any options to edit field sets.
See attached screenshots.
Please note that I am not using your Events Calendar plugin, only your Event Tickets one. I think what you’re referring to only shows up if I have the Events Calendar plugin.

MemberGood evening Abby,
This is totally my bad. All apologies.
With your specific configuration, you are 100% right.
You can create fieldsets, but not update them.I have asked for a snippet so that you can have access to that menu.
In the meantime, although it’s not ideal, you can simply install our free the Events Calendar plugin (without needing to use it). This should give you access to the menu you are looking for.
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

ParticipantThanks, Geoff – I’m not going to install a plugin I don’t need. But a code snippet to add it as a submenu to the Events menu would be great.
Can this also get submitted as a bug? Seems like it should be there by default? Thanks!

MemberGood evening Abby,
Thank you for writing back.
This has indeed been logged as a bug.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
I am still waiting for a snippet to be crafted (hopefully anytime now), so hang in there as I follow up on this for you.
I totally respect and understand why you would not want to install a plugin you are not using.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Abby,
The fix is being worked on as we speak.
In the meantime, I do have another workaround for you.You can actually use the direct URL
/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ticket-meta-fieldsetHang in there!
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHey Abby,
Thanks for the patience while we worked on the fix for the issue you reported.
If you update the plugins to the latest version (4.3.4) you should see this fixed. I’ll re-open this thread so you can give us a confirmation 🙂
Thanks once again for reporting this!
