    Bonsoir Thierry,

    Cordialement,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Rasmus,

    Thank you for writing back and for the additional details.

    What is going on is that officially we do not offer Community Events support while using WPML.
    At best, it might work partially (and I might be able to provide you with some type of manual workaround, but it is untested).

    You can read all about our level of integration with WPML in the following 3 articles: https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=wpml&submit=Search&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-knowledgebase

    As a first step, I would recommend completing the exact setup that is recommended in these articles (you will need string translation and translation management active).

    Once that is done, I would suggest you to head over to WPML > Help > troubleshooting page.

    You should see some cleanup buttons at the top of the page.
    After the suggested database backup, I would click on all 7 of them and see if that helps.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Bonsoir Pascal,

    Salutations,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Samuel,

    Awesome. We are getting close to your goal!

    .home .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image {
    margin: 0 3% 10px 0;
    }

    As for the limit parameter, it is unfortunately not part of our full calendar shortcode for now.
    But, there are are a couple of things to be done:

    1. You can vote for that feature here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17229266-add-limit-x-option-to-photo-view-shortcode
    2. As you can see from that page, there is a snippet that can help: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/reply/1217300/
    3. You could use a category filter instead, something like “homepage”.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Adrian,

    Thank you for your answers.

    So it does indeed look like the emails are being sent.
    You will now need to find out why your server is being blocked (at least in Gmail).

    I would recommend reading around on the web on that topic and perhaps getting a hand from your web hosting company.

    The most common causes are:

    1. There is a server misconfiguration
    2. Your server is being blacklisted
    3. You need to add SPF records on your server https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/apps/sd4AVnxAjdI

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Mark,

    Wow. This is stellar troubleshooting.
    Kudos!

    If you don’t mind, please share your findings if any on the Redis cache issue.

    Is there a quick way to fix the formatting issue with the buttons on the list screen (see screenshot). Shouldn’t they be in a horizontal line with spacing in between.

    The short answer is yes.

    You are right. These should display on a horizontal line with a space between them.

    It is most probably a simple CSS rule issue and this is probably specific to your WordPress theme.

    To help out, I would need to create a dummy event (very far in the future) with your permission. Is that OK ?

    The other solution would be to send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

    Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
    This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Peter and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Hi, we need create a event for invite people and for others will be not visible.. Is this some possible?

    The short answer is yes. This is possible.

    Depending on your needs, it might be a matter of:

    1. Using a plugin such as Members. This would let you completely hide content from users that are not part of a certain Group. The downside is that this requires users to be logged-in. You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/
    2. Try the password protected approach but after experimenting with the different settings for Events Template under Events -> Settings -> Display to see if that helps.
    3. Tweaking the custom the Events Calendar template already present in the Avada theme folders.

      You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

      Basically the goal here would be to make sure the sidebar goes in the loop of password protected event.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Crystal and welcome back!

    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The short answer is yes.
    I believe the following snippet should help: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/075787fd6b427e1c47be0d756ca5b26c

    You simply need to place it in your theme’s functions.php (without the opening PHP tag).

    Let me know if that helps.

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    #tribe-events-content a {
    display: block;
    }

    Good evening Terra and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    Can I purchase the add-ons with the free events calendar or do I need to Pro?

    You do not need the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on unless you are interested in one or many of it’s features: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

    Is the Pro also a Wp PLugin or is it hosted on your end, how does that work?

    This is a totally separate plugin that extends our free the Events Calendar plugin.

    Really I just need the Events Aggregator because I want to be able to import events from Facebook which is my only priority.

    In that case, it looks like you will be fine with the following combination:

    1. Our free the Events Calendar plugin
    2. A paid license key to activate Events Aggregator (no need for any additional plugins): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Evans and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    Do you need to purchase a license for the events calendar and the events tickets to have a calendar that people can purchase tickets?

    The short answer is yes.

    You need to get a copy of our Event Tickets Plus add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/

    This extends our Event Tickets plugin and brings many new features including the ability to use WooCommerce to sell tickets.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Jan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the photo view not working properly on your website.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    After Update to Events Calendar Pro 4.4.2 Photo View Broken, photo layout are over lapping see image attached!!

    I tried to see the issue in action by visiting your website.

    Alas, I am not yet to reproduce the issue. Is it possible you have changed something since posting this ticket ?

    Could you also tell me which screen size you are using (resolution) so that i can try to reproduce your setup ?

    And also the (Ugly no use) buttons re-appeared “EXPORT EVENTS”+ GOOGLE CALENDAR + ICAL EXPORT” I had them turned of in custom css

    That is odd. Would you mind telling me where that custom CSS is stored ? (your theme’s style.css, a custom CSS metabox, our plugin’s style.css, etc..)

    Depending where that is, it is possible that it can get overwritten after an update.

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .tribe-events-ical {display: none !important;}

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Sherman and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    You are right, it does look like Avada’s styling of the quantity boxes needs some reviewing.
    I would recommend letting them know. They are usually pretty responsive for that type of thing.

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .tribe-events-style-full .woocommerce .quantity input {
    width: 30px !important;
    }

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
