    Good evening Mark,

I am sorry to hear that.

Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

Another way to address this would be limit the upload size at a global WordPress level: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/

If I am not mistaking, there are even plugins that help with that.

    Hang in there!

Good evening Joe and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

What I would recommend is to try different settings for Events Template under Events -> Settings -> Display.

    Normally, that should fix it.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

You could do this via CSS, but it can get messy quickly.

    I would recommend using either:

Good evening Mike and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The reason why your front-end Community users are not able to create tickets is because you are missing one plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/

It can be extended even further with Event Tickets Plus: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/ which lets you capture Attendee information (among other things).

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Genevieve and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about that conflict. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.ù
Although the Events Calendar seems to be activating the issue, it is possible that the issue lies in an interaction with something else:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar or WooCommerce that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

If this is not possible could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Math and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the error messages you are getting.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    1) i’m getting this error message on the basket page, https://www.screencast.com/t/pH0goTNEs3

This message is referring to a WooCommerce template customization that requires updating in your noo-ivent theme.

A simple solution is to remove the WooCommerce template customizations altogether until you can update the templates. This is typically done by renaming the woocommerce folder to something like z_woocommerce

As for the second issue, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Hang in there!

Good evening Dawid and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    The short answer is yes.
What you can do is absolutely feasible.

To accomplish this you will need the following plugins:

    1. the Events Calendar (free): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/
    2. Event Tickets (free): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
    3. Event Tickets Plus (premium add-on): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
    4. WooCommerce

    This will let you:

    • Use the calendar’s Venue custom post type for Venue A / Venue B / Venue C.
    • Use either the Event categories or the Tickets for Pike / Salmon / Salt (depending on your scenario)
    • Use (and rename) the Organizer custom post type to guides. This works because you can have multiple organizers per event.
    • See the spaces available through the use of Tickets. You can even have several tickets for a single event and use a Global stock limitation, should you wish to.

Is it possible to make a set up where this can be bought as gift ?

Yes, that is possible through the use of WooCommerce many many plugins.
The simplest form being a coupon code.

Is it possible to synchronize it with Google Calendar?

You can import your events from Google calendar via our awesome Event Aggregator service: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/

In terms of payments, is it possible to take payments with the plug ins but also is it possible to disable payments but receive the package confirmation and approve it?

We actually hand over all of the transactional aspect of things to WooCommerce.

This means you can setup as many payment gateways as you would like. Even Cheque Payment (which would seem to fit your need as far as the approval process is concerned).

There are a number of payment gateways available by default with the plugin, but there are many others available as a third-party plugin.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Oliver and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the plugin conflict you have experienced.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The simplest solution to this issue would be to update Visual composer to the current version (5.2). The more complicated solution would be to downgrade all of your plugins and WordPress to versions that were released around April 2016.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Donna and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The short answer is yes. You can do just that with the following extension: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/

From there, you will simply need to make sure that the WooCommerce order email gets BCCed to the email addresses of your choice.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Philipp and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Before we begin, I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:

Simply put, this might be a simple case of some language files requiring an update (so that you can see the translatable strings)

However, in your specific case, since you are interested in customizing the Add Event Page, I believe that the best solution would be to take advantage of our template override system.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically, you can edit the Add Event view page to your liking and upload it back in the  /tribe-events/ folder of your WordPress theme.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The first thing I would recommend, after a database backup, is that you upgrade Event Tickets Plus to version 4.5.1.

Re-save your permalinks and see if that helps.

If not, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
