ParticipantHi there, I have purchased Calendar Pro and Event Community.
My users are not able to add tickets when creating an event (RSVPs) but I can via the admin panel.
What I mean by able, there is no place, button or link to create tickets (RSVPs) in the create an event page. Thanks,

MemberGood evening Mike and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The reason why your front-end Community users are not able to create tickets is because you are missing one plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/
It can be extended even further with Event Tickets Plus: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/ which lets you capture Attendee information (among other things).
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantHi Geoff,
I know I’m missing these plugins and we might purchase them when we need to sell tickets.
My point is that I can click on an event in the admin section under events and create RAVPs signups, but the members can’t when the create an event?
I’m confuse! ?Another question I have is about the community tickets. If I implement it in my directory, when people purchase a ticket to an event who collects the funds? Us or the member? Which credit card processing gateway is use? Ours and we pay the members later?

MemberGood evening Miguel,
Thank you for writing back.
My point is that I can click on an event in the admin section under events and create RAVPs signups, but the members can’t when the create an event?
The reason for that is that RSVPs are considered tickets.
In fact, the plugin that makes RSVPs possible is called Event Tickets. The Community Tickets works for both Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus users.
In other words, to enable members to create RSVP signups you absolutely need the Community Tickets plugin.when people purchase a ticket to an event who collects the funds?
To be able to offer full transactional tickets, you will need:
- Community Tickets
- Event Tickets Plus
- WooCommerce
Who collects the funds depends on your settings. By default the WooCommerce store collects the fund and it is up to you to pay the different members after.
However, you can also use Paypal split payments for that purpose and set the correct % or amounts of commission. Doing that will pay you and the member upon the purchase.
You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-tickets/
Which credit card processing gateway is use?
This will depend on how your WooCommerce installation is configured. WooCommerce supports a wide variety of payment gateways.
But only Paypal split payments provides you with the ability to pay the member and yourself upon purchase.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks for the explanation. I get it now.We are an online business directory with many sport clubs who will organize events. They will use our community event calendar to advertise them but they will not be able to add tickets for the event without us giving them access to the WP Admin page. Correct?
I was trying to avoid giving them access to the admin section and hoping they could add tickets from the frontend when the create an event once the login into our site.
Bummer!
Thanks,Miguel

MemberGood evening Miguel,
Thank you for writing back.
T0 give your users access to add tickets, you either need to:
- Get a copy of Community tickets (which integrates perfectly with Community events): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/
This is the simplest solution and the one that I recommend.
- Give the Sports club some level of WP Admin access (with a custom WordPress role probably).
As stated above, I believe that in your case, Community tickets is the way to go.
If you are not satisfied with the product, we offer a 30 day full refund on all our plugins. That should give you enough time to decide if you like it.
Have a good weekend,
Geoff B.
