Oh, I’m sorry — I totally misread your question!

An organizer can see and edit the events they have submitted to the Community Events form by visiting:

    [your-site]/events/community/list

Note that your URL will be different if you use a different slug that /events for your calendar. 🙂

Is that what you were looking for? Sorry again for the mixup!

    Hi Torsten,

The attendee can visit the event page and there text above the ticket form that tells them how many tickets they have reserved for the event with a link to view their tickets (screenshot).

Clicking that link will allow them to edit their registration details (screenshot).

    Cheers!

    Hello Sof,

    Great question!

Yes, if you the following plugins:

    • The Events Calendar
    • Community Events
    • Event Tickets
    • Event Tickets Plus

…then you can add Community Tickets and that will bridge the gap between Community Events and Event Tickets Plus, allowing people who submit events to your calendar to create and sell tickets for those events.

And, when they create the tickets, they can create custom fields for them and that information will be collected and available in the WordPress dashboard for you to see and retain.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi @siny311

I am not actually sure why the array is coming back empty. I checked with Brook and he is not sure as well. But keep playing around with it, you are on the right track. I just tried manually editing the transient in the database before clicking “Proceed to checkout” and it worked wonders. So you are certainly going in the right direction.

    Hi TK,

You can take registration signups for events by adding our free Event Tickets plugin.

If you want to add custom registration fields to the form, you will need Event Tickets Plus as well.

    Hi Ashley,

Sorry for the mixup in messaging here!

I checked your account and it appears you had two different Facebook Events licenses, one of which expired July 7, 2016 and the other which is good through July 8, 2017. In other words, you’re good to go. 🙂

As far as the mention of Event Aggregator, we provided you with a free license for it since you have an active Facebook Events license. We expect that Event Aggregator will replace Facebook Events (as well as our iCal Importer plugin) in the future and wanted you to have a free license to try it out and transition to it if you enjoy using it.

Sorry again for the mixup, but I hope this clears things up!

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Hi Jack,

I’d be happy to help you here!

I see you did indeed purchase Event Ticket Plus. Would you like me to go ahead and refund the order (Order #1190264) so you can purchase the plugin you intended?

Let me know and I’d be happy to do that right away!

    Hi Adrien,

Aw man, thanks for the kind words! We put a lotta heart into The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, so I could not be happier to hear you’re loving it so far and I absolutely appreciate your support. Cheers to you!

Interesting question. I do think it would be possible to combine both Map and Month view into a single template. I have to admit, though, I have not tried doing so myself, nor have I seen a working example where someone else has attempted it, so I’m a little hesitant to say it would be “easy.”

That said, if I were to approach it, I would start with a template override of the Map View files, which you can find here:

    /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/map.php

You can make a copy of that file and place it in your theme folder using the instructions outlined in our Themer’s Guide for template overrides.

From there, it will take some testing and custom development for sure, but I would likely start by trying to include the Month View templates where the Map View code ends.

Sorry I don’t have a detailed or concrete guide for you, but I hope this at least helps get the ball rolling!

    Cheers,

    Hi Kati!

I was going to give you a hearty “YES!” for an answer all the way up until I read this:

Can I add this to the website with a payment option for each of the events?

Events Calendar PRO will indeed allow you to create a recurring event that matches a custom pattern like that. The problem is that our ticketing plugins, Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus do not currently support tickets on recurring events. It’s something we’re working on (and it’s been really hard to build!) but I’m sorry to say it is not ready for release yet.

You can, however, create a recurring event, then break each recurring instance out of the series and add tickets to each one. Modifying a single event in a recurring series breaks it out of the series, which then allows you to sell tickets for it. Not sure if that’s ideal for you, but is definitely one workaround. 🙂

Does this help clarify things a bit? I’ll take a look at that Knowledgebase post as well and see where we can spruce things up for more clarity.

    Cheers!

    Hello Lorena!

Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus are indeed two separate plugins with different features. In other words, you will need to purchase both in order to get the benefits of both.

We run a number of sales and promotions throughout the year and you can find the latest and greatest offers listed on our Deals, Coupons & Discounts! page. It does not appear that we have a current promotion for exactly what you’re looking for. That said, we are coming up on Black Friday and, though I cannot guarantee we’ll have a deal available then, we have done something for it the past few years, so it wouldn’t be a complete surprise if it happened again this year.

    Cheers!

    Hi Johann,

Thanks for both getting in touch and for using The Events Calendar! I’m really happy to hear you’re enjoying the calendar so far and are considering checking out Event Tickets for registrations as well.

Event Tickets Plus does indeed include a public attendees list and the ability to accept custom fields with registration. I do want to note that the attendee list is merely a gallery of photos of those attending, using the Gravatar account associated with the email address of the attendee. Here’s a screenshot as an example of how that looks.

It’s certainly possible to customize the attendee list template (with tips on editing templates in our Themer’s Guide) but it will require some custom development to make it happen exactly the way you mentioned.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Dario,

Absolutely not! In fact, Event Aggregator comes with The Events Calendar, which is a free download on WordPress.org.

Once you purchase a license for Event Aggregator and enter it into The Events Calendar settings, it unlocks the importing options on the Events > Import screen.

    Cheers!

Hi Dario and thanks for getting in touch!

Yes, Event Aggregator is indeed the new service and we expect it will replace iCal Importer (as well as our Facebook Events plugin) over time.

The big difference here is that Event Aggregator is not a plugin but rather a service that is already included in The Events Calendar, which is a free download on WordPress.org.

Once you purchase a license and enter it into The Events Calendar, it unlocks importing services for Facebook, Google Calendar, iCalendar, ICS files and Meetup.

iCal Importer, on the other hand, is only capable of importing from an iCalendar feed. It does not include the other options that come with Event Aggregator.

What about exporting events from the Event Calendar to Google Calendar?

Neither Event Aggregator nor iCal Importer were designed as tools to export events to other services — they’re for importing events into The Events Calendar. That said, The Events Calendar does include an iCal URL that can be used by Google Calendar to do a one-time fetch of events from The Events Calendar and import them into Google Calendar.

Does this help answer your question? Let me know!

    Cheers,
    Geoff
