GuestHello there – three quick questions before I purchase – The Events Calendar …
– can I add an attachment file to an event? Like the vents PDF brochure etc?
– can I colour code different programs on the MONTHLY view calendar?
– when scrolling over event – will the calendar have pop-up that blows up the event with previewing the description of the particular event? Thanks!

MemberHello TK,
Great questions!
The Events Calendar does not support file attachment uploads right out of the box. However, it’s certainly possible to make it happen by using Advanced Custom Fields to create a file attachment field for events, then add that field to the event template.
Color coding is also not support right out of the box, but that’s only because there’s already a great plugin that does that you can use for it:
And, yes, the calendar absolutely does have tooltips when hovering over an event in Month View. You can actually see this in action by viewing our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/
Cheers!

GuestHello there – thank you so much for responding so quickly
Check this calendar out: http://www.chigamik.ca/programs/calendar/ – PLUGIN: TIMELY > free and non responsive
I want this functionality .. realizing I would have to use custom fields for attachment files and a custom plugin for colour coding ….
Example – when you click on an event > … see the form on this page: http://www.chigamik.ca/blog/event/living-a-healthy-life-with-a-chronic-condition/?instance_id=66063
Can this be done with your plugin? form – tags – add to calendar button etc … I have a client that needs this kind of caldera plugin – BUT RESPONSIVE like yours.Let me know! Thanks yo kindly – I pitch tomorrow .. so if you can get back soon that would be stellar!

MemberHi TK,
Yes, The Events Calendar does indeed allow you to add both Tags and Categories to events to help organize them.
There are also buttons for visitors to add an event to the calendar of their choice. Here’s an example where you can see both an option for Google Calendar and iCal Export that works the same as the “Add to Calendar” feature you mentioned.
I hope this help with your pitvh tomorrow!
Cheers!

form feature … go back to my link I emailed
I’m sorry, but can you clarify what you mean by this? I’m not quite following what feature you are referring to.
Thanks!

MemberHi TK,
You can take registration signups for events by adding our free Event Tickets plugin.
If you want to add custom registration fields to the form, you will need Event Tickets Plus as well.
Cheers!
