    Agence,

Your screenshot has ranges of distance. However, this isn’t part of our Distance filter.

Is it a custom field filter?

Could you please send me a screenshot of your Filter Bar settings?

Joel, the way you’re doing things isn’t supported — it’s not the way the Themer’s Guide says to do it — and could cause issues in the future. Plus, it’s more complicated so please just follow the Themer’s Guide. 😉

It’s always best to have the latest version of the theme too. Please update to Genesis Framework / parent theme version 2.2.7, released March 7, 2016. You can download it from your account at http://my.studiopress.com/downloads/

However, I don’t think v2.2.6 to v2.2.7 will solve your specific issue.

Are you using a Genesis child theme?

Do you have all non-Modern Tribe plugins disabled?

What exactly happens when you say you can’t edit tickets — cursor and keyboard cannot change them or the changes you make don’t get saved or something else?

If the issue remains, feel free to record a short video demonstrating the issue(s). You can easily record your screen with CloudApp or Jing.

Please provide links and annotated screenshots of the words/phrases on your site that you’re seeing in English when your WordPress language is set to German.

I understand Testing for Conflicts can be tedious.

Do you see Featured Image in your Screen Options?

If not, maybe these tips will help Testing for Conflicts be a little less tedious:

    • at Plugins, see if there are any in “Recently Active” (hopefully none or few and you can remember or write down which ones – or take a screenshot for your reference)
    • at Plugins, see all Active plugins, select all except ones by Modern Tribe, then bulk deactivate
    • then test
    • once you figure it out, activate several at once instead of one-by-one. I like to activate all the Recently Active plugins in alphabetical order, like A-F, test, G-L, test, M-Q, test… oh, that was it… so it was one of the plugins in M-Q. Deactivate M-Q one-by-one, testing after each and see if you can figure out which one it is. Then continue with U-Z from Recently Active.
    • Of course, if it’s none of the plugins, try Themes too.

In your specific case, I’d especially look for the ones affecting the wp-admin editing screen. From you screenshot, I see ads, super widget, poll, contact form, and custom TinyMCE buttons, for example.

    I hope this info helps.

Jean, thanks for the additional context. However, our support is limited to user accounts with active licenses and are limited to supporting non-standard WordPress themes (e.g. Twenty Fifteen), per our Scope of Support / Terms.

As a bit of help, though, I noticed:

    • There are console errors at your site. If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.
    • I saw CSS applied from http://176.32.230.46/rockbakehouse.co.uk/class/buttercream-cake-decorating-techniques-5/ @ Line 763 that overrides another rule at Line 611 that overrides the CSS rule coming from our plugin.

I hope things get sorted out for you fixing your custom CSS and other items.

Bob, I hear you loud and clear and appreciate your emphatic vote for the feature.

I cannot promise any time frame, but I can guarantee we’re spending a lot of time and effort to eventually release a quality solution.

    Have a great one!

Rachel, did you verify that the issue DOES NOT happen when Genesis parent theme is the current theme — NOT your child theme?

Where did you get your child theme? Is Genesis parent theme at the latest version? Is your child theme at its latest version?

As far as the renaming of your child theme folder goes, that’s something you’d need to do via cPanel File Manager or your SFTP program. You could probably add your web host to help with this. Once the child theme’s directory name gets renamed, you’ll need to go to wp-admin > Appearance > Themes and activate your child theme again.

(I’d recommend passing this renaming suggestion on to your theme author too.)

P.S. We’re taking it one step at a time so don’t worry; I’ll do my best to help you get things ironed out.

Rachel, what is the screenshot supposed to communicate to me? I don’t see anything obviously wrong with what I see there (other than I can see that you have an Analytics plugin and an SEO plugin still active — not that that’s “wrong”)…

Looking forward to hearing back so I can try to help further…

    Thanks for the screenshot.

Please click “Screen Options” in the upper-right corner and see if Featured Image is an available “box”, like this: http://cl.ly/0X0L2x080E2w

If it’s not, I’d guess there’s a plugin conflict — in which case, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hi Ceara. Thanks for your business. Let’s move this to email… please email a copy of your recent renewal receipt and your suggested resolution to support @ theeventscalendar.com and we’ll address your specifics there.

    Thanks!

Hi James. Thanks for sharing your information.

I just tested with the latest versions of all our plugins and am not experiencing this. As such, Hi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?

Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.

If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.
