MemberHi, Patrick.
That’s definitely way too much load time.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
It’s hard to tell if this is your issue or not, but, once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please do strongly consider trying the fix for runaway recurring events (a bug introduced in version 4.2.2 and fixed within a few days via version 4.2.2.1).
You can download our Recurring Event Cleanup Tool extension plugin to fix it.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

MemberHi, Alexander.

I’m not sure if it’s technically possible via a simple customization to send each ticket purchase email individually, but we do have this code snippet that may help. It limits the purchase quantity to one no one can buy more than one at a time:

We haven’t ever had PDF tickets. I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5486386-tickets-attached-to-emails-as-pdfs

MemberHi, Hovig.
If I’m understanding your question accurately, our Event List widget already appears as you’re desiring: https://cl.ly/1f3A42382T3p
You may need to play with your Date Format settings at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab and/or wp-admin > Settings > General
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberGotcha.
If you look at that link’s page source, you’ll see it is obfuscated:
- Page source: https://cl.ly/2A2I1C3Z0y3h
- vs Browser Display / Inspector: https://cl.ly/3r2D1a2T0W0n
It’s just that the browser knows how to read and display the obfuscation in a human-readable way.
Regarding the email address not being linked, please reference https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/6095045-make-the-organizer-s-email-address-a-clickable-mai

MemberI just searched my local testing site and I found a “snowshoe” event:
- List of Events search: https://cl.ly/293w3b3m1M08
- Event edit screen: https://cl.ly/1b0V2o1J020l
- Event Aggregator history: https://cl.ly/1l1R2a0Z352Y
Maybe try removing this import feed and re-add it?
I’m not sure what else to suggest since I’m not able to reproduce the issue.
Please share a screenshot of your Event Aggregator status information from the bottom of wp-admin > Events > Help

For reference, this other thread of yours that I’m helping with is similar/duplicate. Maybe that thread’s fix for the debug.log messages will help with EA’s imports.

MemberThanks for sharing your debug.log file.
I believe the only unique PHP Notice in there was a message about Bootstrap_Datepicker.php, which is a known bug that should be fixed soon via a plugin update.
If you’re anxious to get it resolved right away, replacing the entire contents of this file:
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Asset/Bootstrap_Datepicker.php
with this code:
resolved the issue for me. You might want to try it too.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Let’s leave this thread to the Bootstrap_Datepicker (and other debug messages, if any) and keep all the discussion about Event Aggregator not working for you at your other thread I’m helping you with.
Or let’s close that other thread and keep all this discussion just in this thread.
It’s up to you.

MemberI’m glad to hear that. Thanks for the update. Have a great week!

Cliff
MemberExcellent. I’m glad to have helped 🙂

MemberCindy, thanks for that excellent information.
Once I hear back from Anne Marie, I’ll test for her and see if I can confirm your findings. If I can, I’ll log some bugs if necessary.

MemberHi, Mackenzie.
Sorry you’re experiencing this.
On my localhost with an SSL certificate and only The Events Calendar and Event Tickets active (latest versions of these and of WordPress core) — and Twenty Sixteen theme — I was able to use the site just fine, including creating RSVP tickets.
Then I enabled Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce and those worked just fine too, except I got these sort of WP_DEBUG messages, which isn’t a big issue and isn’t related to our plugins.
Therefore, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
January 13, 2017 at 9:22 pm in reply to: How to set or hide the Author for anonymously submitted community events? #1218512Cliff
MemberHi. Thanks for your question.
If I’m not mistaken, Community Events submissions are assigned via get_current_user_id(). Anonymously-submitted events may act as you said, although I have not tested to confirm.
Regardless, you can edit each Event’s author just like any other post type (Pages, Posts) in wp-admin.
Click Screen Options in the upper-right corner of an Event’s wp-admin edit screen and check the box next to “Author”.
This will then display the metabox that allows you to edit an Event’s author.
Please let me know if this answers your question.
Cliff
MemberHi, Julie.
Thanks for your detailed question.
If you have the latest versions of our plugins, you can change the location of the RSVP and Event Tickets Plus ticket forms at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Tickets (screenshot)
If, however, you do not want them in any of those available locations, you’d be in custom development territory. However, we cannot provide such in-depth customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
And, to answer your question about a shortcode to render the tickets, no that’s not a feature. A developer could make one though, or you could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
