ParticipantI created a new site and everything worked fine until I added SSL to the domain. Once SSL was in place, the site crashed. The warning/fatal error I get:
Warning: require_once(/home/content/p3pnexwpnas11_data03/96/3660896/html/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/Main.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas11_data03/96/3660896/html/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/event-tickets.php on line 39
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/content/p3pnexwpnas11_data03/96/3660896/html/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/Main.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_6/lib/php’) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas11_data03/96/3660896/html/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/event-tickets.php on line 39
The only way to get the site back up, was to deactivate the Event Ticket plugin, which I wasn’t able to do because the site was so broken, I couldn’t even login. I had to have GoDaddy deactivate the plugin, which they were able to do by renaming the plugin folder. Once it was deactivated, the site is working perfectly again.

MemberHi, Mackenzie.
Sorry you’re experiencing this.
On my localhost with an SSL certificate and only The Events Calendar and Event Tickets active (latest versions of these and of WordPress core) — and Twenty Sixteen theme — I was able to use the site just fine, including creating RSVP tickets.
Then I enabled Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce and those worked just fine too, except I got these sort of WP_DEBUG messages, which isn’t a big issue and isn’t related to our plugins.
Therefore, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
