MemberYou’re welcome.
I feel comfortable telling you that this is a lower-priority bug due to the fact that multiple workarounds exist. Therefore, I’d strongly recommend handling this via one of the previously-mentioned workarounds. (Of course, this doesn’t mean that it won’t get fixed.)
Thanks for your understanding.

MemberGotcha. If you’re using WooCommerce for the tickets, then this would be a WooCommerce customization, not anything specific to our plugin(s).
Please search online or ask WooCommerce’s support how to get their cart total into a Facebook Pixel code.
Please let me know if there’s more I can help with here.

MemberNathan, I understand and am sorry you’re having this happen.
Unfortunately, I am unaware of others having this issue, and I haven’t been able to reproduce it on my own testing site.
Therefore, I’m not sure how I’m able to assist further. Please do let me know if you think I can be of further assistance here. Obviously, I don’t want you to be experiencing this, but I don’t know how much more I can help here.
Cliff
MemberDirk, thanks for letting me know your issue is now Resolved.
Have a great weekend.

MemberYou imported “an” (one?) event manually and 30 new events were created?
Do you possibly mean one Facebook URL that was for a group, page, or other collection of multiple events?
Regarding the Facebook image not being imported, it is a known issue that is soon to be fixed. Here’s the pull request that’s likely going to be the final version that’ll make it into a near-term update: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/pull/1293/files
Please let me know if there’s more I can do to help in the meantime awaiting this fix.
Cliff
MemberThanks for that feedback, Michael. That may be the way our developers address this, but I don’t know if it will be.

MemberCan it be done? Probably.
However, it’d likely be a decent-sized customization, which we do not provide support for, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
If there’s a code snippet you’d like me to put some eyes on or something else I can help you with, please update this ticket or create a new ticket if it’s a separate issue.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Cliff
MemberIn that case, you’d be in custom development territory, for which we cannot provide such in-depth customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.

MemberI appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we do not provide in-depth customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
I’ve provided you with a couple snippets that may assist with what you’re wanting, but if it isn’t working for you or you’re wanting something slightly different, you might need to do some troubleshooting on your site (e.g. test the snippet(s) with Twenty Seventeen theme and/or all other plugins disabled), or you may need to tweak the code to suit your site.
Thank you very much for your understanding.

MemberBrad, we’ll close this thread and keep the discussion at your other thread at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/qr-reader-problems/
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberI’m glad to hear it’s working now.
I visited that link and it looks like it’s displaying nicely: https://cl.ly/2h3U3C0C310q
Is this not what you see or not what you want?
Cliff
MemberHi, Brad. Sorry things haven’t been smooth sailing here.
I’ve heard that the app by http://www.quickmark.com.tw/ has enough configuration options to work in a variety of ways, whether or not to open the QR’s link in a browser or just make note of the URL (which can then be exported to CSV, Dropbox, or Mac’s clipboard). It also has a paid upgrade for bulk scanning, which I heard worked well.
Of course, we don’t develop it so we can’t guarantee it, but please do report back if you do give it a try.
Thanks!

MemberIn both our plugin’s and Eventbrite’s verbiage, Venues are locations, and Organizers are people. However, I don’t know how Eventbrite handles Unused things.

I was able to replicate the duplicate Venue being created. I will log that as a new bug.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi, Tristan.
I appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we cannot always provide such in-depth customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
This does sound possible, but I’m not 100% clear what you’re wanting excluded. Providing links and mentioning specific events I’ll be able to see there might help. If you share an annotated screenshot or video screen capture, it might help, too.
If there’s a code snippet you’d like me to put some eyes on, please update this ticket.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
