ParticipantHi!
I would like to put 3 single events on my homepage.
I tried to put this shortcode:[tribe_event_inline id=”rock-the-ballet”]
{thumbnail}
{title}
Time: {start_date} @ {start_time} – {end_date} @ {end_time}
{excerpt}
[/tribe_event_inline]
But it doesn’t work at all… Look at my result: http://beta.ethicetapes-sologne.com
I don’t understand why to doesn’t work… Could you please help me??
Thank you so much!

MemberHi.
Please have PRO installed and active on your site and reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-single-events-tribe_event_inline-shortcode/
You can try one of the examples from that KB article and see if it works for you. If it doesn’t, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberI’m sorry I didn’t notice this the first time. The issue is that
tribe_event_inline id="rock-the-ballet"must be a number, not a slug, like this:
tribe_event_inline id="4889"Please let me know how this goes for you.

ParticipantHi!
It works fine! Thank you.Last question: when I put a featured image in my event, the size is 1200x790px. But when I click on my event, the image is smaller and cut. IT’s not centered properly.
Look: http://beta.ethicetapes-sologne.com/evenement/triwap/
On the homepage, http://beta.ethicetapes-sologne.com/, how much the images of events measure? 845x321px?
Thanks for your answers.

MemberI’m glad to hear it’s working now.
I visited that link and it looks like it’s displaying nicely: https://cl.ly/2h3U3C0C310q
Is this not what you see or not what you want?
