MemberHi, Ira. I appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we cannot provide theme-specific customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
I’d recommend you ask your theme support for how-to.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

MemberNot at this time, unfortunately.
I’ve added your request to an internal feature request ticket to add hooks for imports to allow controlling import categories.
This feature may be available in a future version.

MemberI’m not sure how that happened; sorry about that. Let’s try this one instead:
- event: http://wpshindig.com/event/an-example-event-by-sir-rob/
- iCal: http://wpshindig.com/event/an-example-event-by-sir-rob/?ical=1&tribe_display=
I ran it as an iCal Import and it didn’t import the Venue or the Organizer. I found this to be a known issue when importing via URL but not via manual .ics upload.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberThanks for confirming.
I purchased an EDD ticket as a Subscriber and both [tribe-user-event-confirmations] and mysite-com/event/my-event-slug/tickets/ both were displaying the correct information.
Then, as an Administrator in EDD’s wp-admin settings, I looked at the order and it was already Complete.
These were my settings: https://cl.ly/2B1z0V1M3f13
If you use Test Payment (which I think then auto-completes the order), does the problem no longer happen?

MemberI did see that your .ics file did not validate via http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/
The iCal export for this single event imported the event, organizer, and venue:
- event: http://wpshindig.com/event/codeforcuritiba-hack-night/2017-08-30/
- iCal: http://wpshindig.com/event/codeforcuritiba-hack-night/2017-08-30/?ical=1&tribe_display=
I’d suggest comparing your .ics with the .ics from this event and also make sure that your .ics does validate.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberI’m not exactly clear what you mean by a specific view on a specific page, but you could use one of our plugin’s widgets or shortcodes, such as [tribe_events view=”week”]

MemberThank you. I am guessing the issue stems from your theme. Could you please activate a WordPress default theme like Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Sixteen, Twenty Seventeen, etc. and then allow me to check that same event again?

MemberBecause of the purge_varnish_cache() failed message, I’d recommend checking with WP Engine about this issue.
Please let me know how it goes.
