September 22, 2017 at 9:26 pm in reply to: Organizer drop down list incomplete in Filter Bar #1353762
Cliff
MemberHi, Ron.
I’m unsure which exact thread that’s from, but I’m guessing your site has over 200 Organizers…
In which case, please reference this code snippet to allow an unlimited number of Organizers and Venues in the Filter Bar options:
https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/f8102153d93cb2fdd5cd3ed21e321086
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Mark.
Sorry for any confusion here, but this is what it looks like when you do not have Event Aggregator (EA) activated.
Please go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab and see if you input the correct License Key for EA.
If you do have it correct there, please remove the license key, save settings, and refresh the page. Then, please delete the site from https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ as well (to de-register it).
Once we’re at this “start fresh” stage, please re-enter your EA license key in your wp-admin settings. Hopefully this will resolve the issue. If it doesn’t, I can try issuing you a fresh, new license key to try instead.
Please let me know how this goes for you.
September 22, 2017 at 9:16 pm in reply to: Using a QR scan app on which i can import the tickets' code to work offline #1353760Cliff
MemberHi.
We’ve heard good things about Quickmark, which is mentioned at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)
Additionally, you could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I’d suggest going to wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks and re-save your same Permalinks settings.
Please let me know how this goes for you.
September 22, 2017 at 9:00 pm in reply to: Events showing after event start in event listing page #1353758Cliff
MemberThe screenshot you sent looks like Photo View.
Here’s what it looks like on our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/
And here’s what our List View looks like: http://wpshindig.com/events/list/
In trying to recreate your issue, I created a new event that started 7 minutes from now. Then I went to List View and it was there (as you’d expect because it hadn’t started yet): https://cl.ly/2Y032d221K3V
I was going to wait 7-8 minutes for the event to start to see if it was no longer displayed but then I saw the Hawaiian King Hotel event from my screenshot already demonstrates that events do stay there after their start time, which is what you’re wanting to happen.
And here’s a screenshot demonstrating Photo View doing the same: https://cl.ly/2z1A1O2Q2w2p
Therefore, since this isn’t currently a known issue, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberTodd, I can look into this a bit further, but at first glance I see you already have the PRO add-on as well. Why not just use a PRO Additional Field for your Neighborhoods filtering? It will automatically appear in Filter Bar.
Cliff
MemberI’m very glad it was an easy fix! Thanks for letting me know 🙂
September 22, 2017 at 10:11 am in reply to: Event Tickets Plus Error when inputting licence key #1353569Cliff
MemberI’m glad you figured it out. Sorry about the trouble.
It sounds like you didn’t have the Event Tickets Plus add-on plugin activated and therefore it wasn’t showing up in the Licenses tab for you to input the license key.
I’ve extended your license a bit to account for any lost time.
Have a great weekend!
Cliff
MemberSorry, but I can’t see the same thing as your screenshots. Here’s what I see: https://cl.ly/1T0r340a1S3J
Regardless, your date format and text are not the defaults. Here’s what the Photo View displays by default: http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/ (notice no “min”)
I’d suggest checking your WordPress datetime settings at wp-admin > Settings > General and paying attention to the previews: https://cl.ly/3G3P3N2f1L1A
If that preview does not have “min”, then I’d suggest taking a look at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > Date Format Settings: https://cl.ly/060H2f3k0D08
If still no clues there, I’d suggest switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Sixteen, Twenty Seventeen, etc. and then see how Photo View looks.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberThank you. I see you’re on localhost so you can’t share a link for me to click around for myself.
Can you confirm if this is an accurate description of the problem: if an event goes from 7:15pm on Sept 20 and ends at 9:30pm the next day on Sept 21, then the event will display properly in Photo View but will not display at all in List View.
Cliff
MemberYou’re welcome.
Cliff
MemberI see you’re running Divi version 3.0.62. Please update to the latest version: 3.0.75
Then, please clear your server and browser caches and revisit http://www.imparareitaliano.org/io to see if it’s happening again.
I noticed in the front-end Divi Builder mode, the issue was not happening.
===
I did log the bug that the map shortcode is loading in the wp-admin post edit screen, though.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
September 21, 2017 at 10:06 am in reply to: Event Tickets Plus Error when inputting licence key #1352827Cliff
MemberThanks, but I’m unclear exactly where you’re seeing that message. Could you provide the URL you’re at or a wider-view screenshot?
Please also send me a screenshot of where you entered your license key (in a Private Forum Reply).
You might also try removing your license key, deleting the plugin, downloading a fresh copy from https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/, activating it, and then re-inputting your license key.
Thanks for your effort here.
Cliff
MemberThanks for that testing.
We released an update for The Events Calendar. Please make sure you’re on the latest version and then let me know if, after 1-3 days or so (however long you think is appropriate for testing), this is still happening exactly the same or if anything changes.
Cliff
MemberI understand. Please complete that refund request form, as mentioned in my prior reply, and they should be able to take care of you.
