KeymasterHey Jennifer,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:
- First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. 🙂
Thanks!

KeymasterHi Stephen,
Thanks for emailing support and sorry you are having issues with the update. Can you try downloading a fresh copy from your My Account > Downloads page and upload the plugin via ftp manually?
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Christopher,
Thanks for email support and sorry you are having issues with the shortcode. Looks like it may be a conflict with the new version and possible another plugin.
Can you also try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If you would prefer not to do this on your live site, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. Let me know what you find!
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi Guy,
Thanks for email support and informing us of a possible issue.
It appears there may be a conflict with one of your plugins.

KeymasterHey Chantal!
Would you be willing to share your system information? That will allow me to check for possible conflicts and see your current calendar settings. You can snag that by heading to Events > Help, copying the information that is at the bottom of the screen, then pasting it here for me as a private reply.
Thanks so much for your help!

KeymasterHi farshid,
Thanks for emailing support. We do offer many translations for our plugins, however Persian is not part of the list at this time since it shows 0% support.
Hope that answers your question.

KeymasterHi Derrill,
Thanks for email support and sorry you are having issues with the update. Not sure why you would get a curl error. Something must have timed out during the retrieval process. Can you try updating it manually through ftp? Just remove the current copy on your server and upload a version from your My Account > Downloads page.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Nicolas,
Thanks for the message and sorry you are having issues. You can download previous versions of the plugin all the way back to the version in which you purchased the plugin. In order to find this, you need to go to My Account > Downloads and select the version in the dropdown. Once you do that you can then click the download button link on the right.
Let me know if that works for you.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi David,
Thanks for the email and considering our plugins for your site. In regards to OpenGraph, great question first of all. To answer this, our aggregator is only going to pull in certain meta data from the event like time, time, title, description. You can add a plugin like Yoast to manually add this information, however currently its not part of our plugin.
In regards to category, you can set a default category for the imports, however venue would need to be added manually.
In the future, these features will likely be added, they are just not part of the plugins currently.
Hope that answers your questions.
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi Raul,
Thats great and we are always looking for ways to improve our plugins for our customers so I have let the correct developers know.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Mike,
Sorry for the delay!. I want to take a look at the queries to see what is causing this issue. Can you install Query Monitor
After that is installed, run this in the testing conflicts mode and let me know if finds any warnings or areas of attention. You can add a screenshot of the results.
This will help us narrow down where hopefully the slowness is coming from since its not apparent on pingdom.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Helen,
Ok, I see now and yes that makes sense on why you are having issues. The woocommerce tickets plugin is old and we have since upgraded to a new system. Unfortunately there is no way to seamlessly move tickets onto the new system.
I’m not sure how many tickets you have but the best option would be to install the Events Ticket Plus add-on and add the tickets there manually for any upcoming events.
Please review this guide:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
