    Thanks for reaching out! I’m really sorry about this recurrence issue. I have tested this in-and-out and it looks like you have found a bug. It looks like that the event instances for the second custom rule are not created.

    I already filed a bug ticket for this, so hopefully a fix will be on the way soon, however I cannot commit any date just yet.

    As a workaround I can recommend that for one of the custom rules you set up a separate recurring event.

    Sincerest apologies for this and I hope the workaround will help you until the fix arrives.

    Hi Ashley,

    Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!  Let me help you with your issue here.

    I checked your csv file and it looks like it doesn’t have a first row describing what each column is. If you paste this as the first row, that should already help you out:

    Description,ZIP,Event title,price,noclue,venue,address

    I might not have gotten all columns right 🙂 but it doesn’t matter, you will be able to match the columns.

    Also note that you need to have the venues set up or imported in the system first. When importing an event you can only import a venue name, but not the rest. Then the venue name will be matched with the existing ones in your database.

    What you can do – after adding that first line – is import the file first for Venues and then only select the columns relevant for the venues. Then import the events.

    One more more important note. Your events in the csv file don’t have a start or end date (as a separate column). Without this your events will not import.

    Hi aehhub,

    I’m sorry to keep you waiting.

    I’ve managed to get some input from our developers. It looks like a very theme specific javascript bug. Unfortunately at the moment we don’t have a quick fix for this.

    I’m going to file a bug report so eventually it will get fixed, however, at this moment I cannot confirm and specific date for that.

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for all the details!

    I did a lot of testing on this and even though I managed to use both (actually all 4: left and right; admin and event organizer) check-in options, I can confirm there are two bugs here.

    1. When you check in with the link on the right, the label of the URL doesn’t update until you do a page reload. When you use the link on the left, that produces a page reload so seems to work fine.

    2. When using the QR code to check in, then although there is an error message saying the user is already checked in, the checking in still happens. So I suppose what happens is:

    • you scan the code
    • user gets checked in
    • system checks whether user is checked in
    • since user got checked in in step 2, you get the error message 🙂

    Thanks for reporting this and I’m sorry about this bug. I already filed the 2 bugreports, so hopefully a fix will be on its way soon. I ask for your patience until then.

    Although I haven’t tested it for these bugs, if you desperately need this to work without issues right now, than you can try downgrading to the last version before 4.3 until the fix arrives.

    Ein neuer Schlüssel wurde letzte Woche (mit der Ausgabe von Version 4.3) für alle iCal user generiert der ist gültig bis der iCal Importer gültig ist. Du kannst den Schlüssel in deinem Account bei theeventscalendar.com finden.

    Thanks for all the details you shared with me. I understand how frustrating the issue of not being able to find / see attendee information is and that it impacts your business. I just want to assure you that I will try to do everything I can to help you solve this issue with the attendee information. So hang in there, we’ll get this straightened out.

    In the Purchaser column you will always see the name and email that is filled on the checkout form’s billing name / email.

    When you hover over a sold ticket in the attendees list, then you will see View Details. If you click on that, the ticket will open up and you will see the attendee details for that ticket.

    I also see in your system info that you are using outdated versions of our plugins. An update to the latest versions is highly recommended because a whole bunch of bugs have been squashed since and we only support the latest versions.

    Hey Judy,

    I see the difference on the pages.

    These are couple of things I would check:

    Are all the setting under Events > Settings the same on both sides?

    Are the events set up with the same details?

    Is it maybe a recurring event? There is a setting for hiding the future recurrences of recurring events under Events > Settings > General tab > Recurring event instances

    Does the issue still exist if you remove the limit from the shortcode?

     

    Also I see in your sysinfo that your Event Tickets Plus plugin is out of date. Although it is likely not the source of this issue, I still recommend you to update to the latest version of all our plugins to ensure seamless _cooperation_ between them. Mismatching plugin versions tend to create glitches in operation.
