ParticipantThe search function is not working with the divi theme. I have turned off all plugins and switched the theme to verify it is the theme. How can I get the search function to work with this theme? I am launching the site later today so the url you see in the setting will change the to the live one in a few hours.

KeymasterHey Joseph,
Thanks for reaching out with your issue and thanks for submitting your system information.
Based on that I see that you are using the Divi Builder plugin and a different theme (not Divi).
Can you please clarify what was switched off and which theme you were using to test. Recommendation would be to deactivate all plugins except for the Modern Tribe ones, Divi Builder and switch to a default theme like twentysixteen .
Can you confirm you did this, or could you please check it this way and let me and confirm the issue exists?
Also would be great if you could share a direct link to the exact page where you are experiencing this.
Thanks and cheers,

ParticipantI am using a child theme of the Divi theme. I switched off all plugins and tested with a different theme. The problem is only with the Divi child theme. The search bar did work when I switched the theme. I also tested by removing all my css styling and that did not make it work. The search bar is here http://www.sprucepeakarts.org.php56-11.dfw3-2.websitetestlink.com/events/list/
Thanks,

KeymasterHey Larissa,
Thanks for getting back to me on that with more details.
I see that you are using mismatching versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro. Also last week we have released version 4.3 of all our plugins. Could you please update your plugins to the latest version and check if the issue still exists?
I also see that you are using an older version of Divi as well.
I have tested on a local installation the newest versions of our plugins and newest Divi, and search worked.
Please check the above and let me know the results, and we’ll go further from there if needed.
Cheers,

ParticipantI have updated everything and the search is still not working. I just noticed it only does not work in list view. I also just noticed another issue which is a little more important right now. The previous/next links are not working on list view. Can you please look into this as well. I just made the site live. The URL is now http://www.sprucepeakarts.org/. You will see the issue here http://www.sprucepeakarts.org/events/list/
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Larissa,
I see a javascript error when I click on the prev / next links in list view. Please, allow me some time to investigate this. I’ll get back to you on this asap.
Also note, there is another error, which you might want to investigate. Goes like this:
“NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http://www.sprucepeakarts.org/resources/demos/style.css”

KeymasterMeanwhile could you please send me an updated system information in a private reply, and also check the ‘Automatically share…’ box under Events > Help? This latter is a new feature and there are cases when it doesn’t work, that is why I’m asking for both. Thanks!
Here’s a guide on how to do all that.

KeymasterHi Joseph,
Thanks for sharing the sysinfo. (The checkbox version came through as well without issue this time.)
Based on your sysinfo I see that you are using older and mismatching versions of our plugins. I recommend you to update them to the latest versions and check if the issue still exists. Let me know if that solves is.
Thanks and cheers,
