KeymasterSzia Zsuzsanna és üdv a fórumban! 😉
I will keep this in English so others can benefit as well.
Before going into the translations do the following 2 things. This is to make sure that 1) the translations don’t get lost with a plugin update, and 2) you have all the strings in the files.
1) Copying the translations to a safe location:
- Go to Loco Translate and open the plugin you want to translate.
- Hover over your chosen language (Hungarian), and then click on copy. (screenshot)
- This will take you to a new screen. Set it up like on this screenshot and click on the blue button.
After this whenever you want to translate more, then choose the language that says “Other” in the Folder column. (screenshot)
I recommend you do this for all plugins that you translate.
2) Update your string set:
Once you open up the language to translate, click on the ‘Sync’ button. And when the success message appears on the top (as indicated on this screenshot) click on Save.
Now you have an updated file and you can continue translating.
“All events” you will find as “All %s”. %s will be then replaced with the plural version of Event / Events, so it will be “Események”.
I recommend translating the string to “Összes esemény” rather than “Összes %s”, so it sounds better in Hungarian. (screenshot)“Buy now!” you will find in Event Tickets after a sync.
“Add to cart” is in Event Tickets Plus after a sync.
“View your tickets” you will find as “View your %s” in Event Tickets.
“You have 4 Tickets for this Esemény” is in Event Tickets like this: “You have %s for this %s.”
(This might be a bit tricky to translate as “4db jegy” is set. Maybe you can try “%sed van erre az %sre.”)“view your tickets” page: you will likely find these strings in Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus after a sync.
Email: likely most strings are in the Event Tickets Plus translation file. If you would like to create a totally new email with more text, then you can do that with creating a template override for the email file.
Here you can read more about overriding a template: Themer’s Guide
You will need to create an override for this file:
wp-content\plugins\event-tickets\src\views\tickets\email.phpIf you can give me more details on what you would like to do, then I might be able to help you further.
A tip on finding strings: lot of times “ticket” and “event” is replaced by %s in the original strings. So the best was to look for the strings is looking for part of the string that doesn’t contain these words. For example instead of “view your tickets” look only for “view your”.
Let me know if you have more questions or if you don’t find anything.
If you need any explanation in Hungarian, then tell me. 🙂
Üdv,

KeymasterHey Alec,
That looks like some major customization. I have to let you know that we are limited in supporting customization as it is beyond the scope of our support. I’ll try to give you some pointers though.
The add to cart button and the ticket list is coming originally from this file:
wp-content\plugins\event-tickets-plus\src\views\wootickets\tickets.php
Line 215.
You might want to poke around that one a bit and check how it is implemented.

KeymasterHi Ryan,
I’m really sorry to hear that. Please give me some time so I can do some investigation. We’re currently experiencing a heavy load in the forums but I’ll try to get back to you in 2-3 days. Thanks for your patience.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi again,
Thanks for checking the status and getting back to me.
I see most events were imported to the calendar, at least in Jan and Feb.
Are there some specific events that are missing?
There are couple of things we can look at.
- Past events
Past events will not be automatically imported. The import usually starts with today’s date, unless specified.
If you would like to import past events as well, then you will need to define that before running the import. When setting up the import you will see “Refine” fields, one of them will be the date. (screenshot) Enter the desired date, run the preview and then the import.
- Some events around the present
Check if their status is set to ‘Published’ and not ‘Draft’ or ‘Pending’.
If an event has been imported before, then put on the “ignored list” (screenshot 1, screenshot 2), then 1) it will not be imported / updated any more; 2) it will not show up on the front-end.
- Events in the future
There is a setting for limiting imports based on number of events or timeframe. This is a protection not to overload the source site.
You can check these settings under Events > Settings > Imports tab > Global import setting section. (screenshot)
I hope this helps you move forward. Let me know what you find.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi David,
Thanks for sharing that system information.
I see that you are using Event Tickets Plus 4.5.6 which is an older version. This could cause glitches like the one you are experiencing. The current version is 4.6.2.
Please update that plugin too. In case you don’t see a notification for an automatic update, then you can download the plugin from your account and update it manually.
Let me know if you still experience the problem after this.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Shah,
That would definitely require custom development, which is beyond the scope of support we can provide.
If that is a feature you would like to have developed, then I can share with you this list of independent developers who are well known in the community and not affiliated with us. They should be able to help you.

KeymasterHi Evan,
Thanks for sharing that!
I did some tests and investigation and this looks like a bug on our end. The all day events are being exported without any timezone information, and these then will be imported with the UTC timezone. You can manually change that if you open the event for editing and change the timezone to your desired one, then update the event. For the time being that is the solution.
I opened a bugticket so our developers will take a look at this.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out. Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Daniel,
I need to ask around a bit as this is beyond me. Most of it I believe can be done with WP functions.
Give me some time to check around and I’ll get back to you in a day or two. Thanks for your patience!

KeymasterMean while please check if the venue has latitude and longitude coordinates when you open up the venue for editing and you switch on the “use latitude/longitude” option.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Noah,
Thanks for checking and sharing that.
I did some investigation on this and we do have bug that produces similar results. It might be you are affected by that as well.
Would you be able to share with me a full database dump of your site?

KeymasterHi Dan,
Thanks for the clarification!
There is no option to filter the venue for those two shortcodes.
Maybe this shortcode will better serve you, check:
[tribe_featured_venue slug="the-eiffel-tower"]You can find more info on the different shortcodes and their usage in these 2 articles:

Let me know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHi Preben,
I did some investigation on the issue and we do have a bug logged with the “More” button not working. The bug exists as of ET/ET+ 4.6 so you will need to roll back to one version before that.
2. When the participants appear on the front end, it’s only thumps and not names as before.
While testing the above with the twentyseventeen theme I was looking for this as well, and even in versions before 4.6 the names do not show up. I believe that might have been / that is a feature of the theme you are using.
3. Participants no longer appear on previous events. This is a very big problem for us.
Did this happen at a random time or after a plugin update?
Can you share with me a url to an event where this is happening and also a screenshot of the attendee list of the backend. You can share it in a private reply to keep sensitive data safe.
Also please check the ticket settings for those past events whether the “show attendees list on event page” is switched on (screenshot). Please check this with a default theme active, this will help us rule out any customizations done by the theme you are using.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Bruce,
Thanks for getting back to me on that.
I did a 3rd test run and found out what’s happening here.
If the admin is also a member that has a 100% discount on the product, then you will see a blank price field, since you are a member.
However, you can enter a new price and update the ticket. While the admin will still see a blank field (due to the 100% discount) the new price will be shown on the front-end.
If the admin is removed from the membership, then the back-end will again work fine.
I hope this helps.
I’ll file a bugticket for this glitch so our devs can take a look at it sometime.
Cheers,
Andras -
