ParticipantHello.
3 challenges now where we are going to start a new season.
1. When there are more participants, only 13 participants will be shown on the front end, so click on plus + to get all participants shown. This does not work. Nothing happens when clicked on it.
2. When the participants appear on the front end, it’s only thumps and not names as before.
3. Participants no longer appear on previous events. This is a very big problem for us.Se the trip to Germany here: http://mcikast.dk/event/tyskland-2018/#show-all-attendees

ParticipantSome events show nice participants, others do not. This though, show attendants list on event admin page is marked.
Here’s an example where the participants are not shown: http://mcikast.dk/event/julefrokost/
I have attached a file that shows that the selection “show attendants list on event page” is set. And there are 23 attendees. But nothing on frontend.January 12, 2018 at 10:44 am #1424997Andras
KeymasterHi prebenjensen,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Great questions, let me try to help you with them.
Some of the issues might be caused by a conflict or an override in the theme that you are using. To check that please switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen and check if the issues still exist.
It would also be great if you could go through our conflict testing guide to see if any other plugins are influencing these issues.
Let me know what you find. And we’ll work from there.
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks getting back to me.
All of this has already been tried. It has started with the latest update of the events calendar, event ticket and event ticket plus.
I have previously changed all previous events when you changed from checking out to not be displayed. to check for display.
Otherwise it has run well.
I think that the events created before the previous update will not show participants, but the events created with version 4.6.2 will be displayed.
I am about to downgrade so it will work again.

KeymasterHi Preben,
I did some investigation on the issue and we do have a bug logged with the “More” button not working. The bug exists as of ET/ET+ 4.6 so you will need to roll back to one version before that.
2. When the participants appear on the front end, it’s only thumps and not names as before.
While testing the above with the twentyseventeen theme I was looking for this as well, and even in versions before 4.6 the names do not show up. I believe that might have been / that is a feature of the theme you are using.
3. Participants no longer appear on previous events. This is a very big problem for us.
Did this happen at a random time or after a plugin update?
Can you share with me a url to an event where this is happening and also a screenshot of the attendee list of the backend. You can share it in a private reply to keep sensitive data safe.
Also please check the ticket settings for those past events whether the “show attendees list on event page” is switched on (screenshot). Please check this with a default theme active, this will help us rule out any customizations done by the theme you are using.
Thanks and cheers,

ParticipantRelating to. No. 2. I have found that it works with rsvp but not when the tickets are purchased via woocommerce.
Relating to. No. 3. Events created during the period 26 June to 18 November do not show participants on frontend.
So, it must be because these events are created with a version that does not work with the latest version. I am sorry, that I can’t remember what version I had in that period.
Events from before June 26th are quite ok. The same with events after 18 November.Relating to. screenshot, then see my comment here in this thread from January 11th. I have shown what you are requesting.
It is not because of Woo Canvas theme that there are ploblems.
When RSVP also displays names – See this link. http://mcikast.dk/event/ole-espersens-bisaettelse/
Hope you get these errors corrected ….

KeymasterHi Preben,
Thanks for the clarifications.
I have found that it works with rsvp but not when the tickets are purchased via woocommerce.
I have checked this feature with the default twentyseventeen theme and with that I don’t see the names for the RSVPs either. My hunch is this is a custom implementation in your theme, either with a snippet in your functions.php or through a template override.
Events created during the period 26 June to 18 November do not show participants on frontend.
That is unusual. Do the participants show up on the backend if you go to the attendees list?
I’d be happy to look at this deeper. Could you share with me a full database dump and the contents of your “wp-content” folder zipped up? I can then fire it up on my computer and check around, to see if I can find something. (The ‘uploads’ folder is not really needed.)
If you can share those I can take a look at the first one as well.
Relating to. screenshot…
Sorry, I missed it. Thank you!

KeymasterHi again Preben,
Participants no longer appear on previous events.
I just had another topic with this issue. What happened there is that the tickets were either removed from the event or the WooCommerce ticket was set to draft. In these cases the event doesn’t realize it has tickets so will not look for the attendees.
Please check if this is the case for you as well.
Thanks,

ParticipantAs mentioned earlier, all events / tickets are created for a specific period / with a specific version of the ticket that has the problem. There are no deleted events / tickets for that period. So this is another problem

KeymasterHi Preben,
Dropbox is fine. If you can get a public link to the file to download then you can share that link here in a private reply.
Looking forward to seeing the files.

KeymasterHi Preben,
Thanks again for your patience and for the files.
I managed to fire them up and did some investigation. Looks like there is a bug in Event Ticket 4.6.3 and the “Who’s attending” list does not appear on the front end.
We will investigate this issue.
Until this gets fixed the workaround is to roll back to Event Tickets 4.6.2. That should solve it for now. Let me know if that helps.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
