MemberHello Matt!
Thanks for following up with this.
I didn’t get a reply before, perhaps you tried posting something but didn’t go through. Where you able to create a fresh test site like I indicated in my last reply?
Do you have any other questions? Let us know about it.
Thanks,

June 26, 2017 at 10:58 pm in reply to: RSVP not working for roles other than Administrators #1308262Victor
MemberHello Jeremy!
Thanks for sending out the screenshot. There seems to be a Javascript error coming from a JS file called responsive-menu.js, probably coming from your theme or a plugin.
I can also see that the jQuery code is getting included twice. This can also be possible due to a theme/plugin conflict.
I don’t think there are any permission issues, because to RSVP you do not require any specific role or permission. In your case you would only need to be logged in to be able to RSVP. If you don’t want to require users to be logged in to RSVP, you can change this setting by going to Events > Settings > Tickets tab and underĀ Login requirementsĀ uncheck the option “Require users to log in before they RSVP”.
I will need you to try switching to a default theme, like twenty seventeen and see if the issue still persists. If it does, then you’ll need to deactivate all other plugins to see what happens. This way we can narrow the problem down to a theme or plugin conflict.
Please let us know what you can find going through those steps.
Thanks,

MemberHi Nicholas!
Thanks for coming back with all that info regarding this issue. I’m really sorry you are experiencing that.
After making some tests on my end I could spot the query you are referring to, although I don’t experience the slow down in performace, but this might be related to the number of events/venues.
I have logged a new report regarding this issue and the team will investigate it further. We will also try to come up for a workaround to prevent that query from loading, so we’ll keep you posted as soon as we have something.
In the meantime, could you please let us know the amount of events and venues you currently have in your site?
Thanks,
VictorJune 26, 2017 at 9:47 pm in reply to: Latest updates problem… now says I need to renew my licence… #1308220Victor
MemberHello Neill!
I’m really sorry you experienced problems updating the plugins. Let me help you with the license issue.
First, please go to Events > Settings > Licenses tab and delete the license for your plugin and save. Then go toĀ https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and disconnect your license from your site by clicking the “Disconnect Now” link. After this, enter your license back again and see if it solves the issue.
If that does not solve the issue, you can always perform a manual update of the plugin by following this guide >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/
I hope that helps you clear the issue. Let us know if it works for you.
Best,

MemberHiĀ Jason!
I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue. Let me help you troubleshoot it.
Are you experiencing this issue with all the recurring events or just some? How about when creating a new recurring event from scratch, do you get the same error? Let us know about this.
If it only happens with some recurring events, could you please share with us a screenshot of the recurring settings for that event?
I noticed you are using an older version of WordPress, could you please update to the latest version and see if that clears the issue? To do that, we’d recommend you set up a staging/dev site. This will avoid any disruption to the live site in case something goes wrong.
We’d also recommend you make a full backup of your site, both files and database, just in case something goes wrong.
Finally, could you please make sure you share with us your latest system info by following this guide >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Brett!
Thanks for getting in touch! Let me try to help you with that.
Unfortunately, there is no built in option in our plugins that will allow you to limit the amount of tickets to be purchased. The tickets are actually a WooCommerce product, so you could perhaps find a workaround for this by setting a limit on that side of things.
I am afraid that setting custom registration fields for all tickets together is not a supported feature. If you were to add a custom field to the entire order, you might want to do that by customizing the checkout process in WooCommerce. I found a couple of articles that could get you started on that here >Ā https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/tutorial-customising-checkout-fields-using-actions-and-filters/Ā andĀ https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/checkout-field-editor/
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

MemberHiĀ damjan!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with that.
First off, I do want to note that it may take us between 24-48 hours (during the week) before we respond to a post as stated here. It usually is significantly faster than that, but we’ve been having a higher demand in our forums lately.
Like you said, it’s not possible to include two calendar views in the same page by using the shortcodes. But I think you would be able to achieve what you are looking for with some custom coding.
We are fairly limited in how much we can support custom development questions like this, but Iād be happy to at least point you in the right direction as best I can.
I haven’t done this myself so I’m not entirely sure this could be easily done, but I’d recommend you take a look at the following article about using the tribe_get_events() helper function >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-tribe_get_events/. You could perhaps use this function to retrieve events and then using them in a certain view.
Another great article I’d recommend reading is our Themer’s Guide, if you haven’t already done so.
I hope that helps you get started! š
Best!

MemberHi Attila!
I’m sorry you are still experiencing issues with the Facebook connection š I know these issues can get really frustrating. Rest assured we are here to help you and we’ll do as much possible to get to the bottom of this issue.
Could you please go to Events > Help and scroll down toĀ Event Aggregator System StatusĀ and share a screenshot of all those settings? They should look something like this >Ā https://cloudup.com/c_AbQU9nKmr
Are you always getting the same error when importing from Facebook? If not, please let us know what other errors you get.
Regarding your other ticket, that could be a different issue. I will take it into account and will be in touch with Cliff just in case, but let’s keep them separate for the moment.
Thanks,

MemberHey @jgroll, thanks for chiming in!
I’ve just reviewed the report on this issue and it seems a fix has been submitted and has already passed QA successfully. It still has to go through its final steps, but there is a good chance this will be available in our next maintenance release this week.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
Best,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Diane!
I’m sorry that did not work for you. š
I’ve just reviewed the bug report and the team has already submitted a fix for this and has passed QA testing. It still needs to go over a few more steps, but there is a high chance this will be available in our next maintenance release this week.
In the meantime, while still having theĀ Datepicker Date FormatĀ to 2017-01-15, you could try editing the event and recreating the recurring options by choosing the recurring dates again. After this, save the event.
Does it clear the issue then? If not, could you please share with us the recurring options for that event one more time?
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Gibson!
Sure! You can add those text lines in a similar way. You can edit the Event Image section by making a template override of the image.php template file located atĀ wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/modules/.
In line 43 you’ll find the snippet that prints the image requirements, so you could add your custom text right after that.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Jeremy!
Thanks for clearing that out and for setting up the test event.
When we enter the number for RSVP, it doesnāt expand as it should.
This could be a Javascript error that is making not to expand the RSVP fields to fill in.
I could not reproduce the issue with the test event you provided because I have to login in order to RSVP, so could you please see if there are any console errors showing when entering a number for RSVP? You can do so by following this guide >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/. If so, please share those errors with us.
This issue, as well as the map not showing up, could be related to a theme or plugin conflict, soĀ could you please go through the complete steps in this guide >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/Ā and let us know if that changes anything?
Thanks,
Victor -
