MemberHi Steve!
Thanks for reaching out to us and for the kind words.
That is a strange issue you are having. Let me try to help you with that.
Are you using an email application in your iPhone? If so, which one is it?
Have you tried opening the email in a different mobile application or using a webmail client like Gmail.com ?
Are you making any template customization for the ticket email template ?
Please let us know about this.
Also, when coming back please share your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

MemberHi Dominic!
Thanks for coming reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help with this topic.
We don’t currently have a built-in option to switch to an ‘AND’ relation to filter by categories, but we do have a code snippet that will set this behaviour here:
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/eb2753491526b079ba69882f4be4fafc
You can place that in your theme’s functions.php file.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have other questions.

MemberHi Emily!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with this topic.
We don’t have a specific way to maintain the database other than the usual ways of doing so like with any other WordPress site. I know there are some plugins that perform some sort of cleanup process to the database but I’m not really sure how they work.
If you wish to remove older events to cleanup your database you can do so as you would with any other post or page. If the events you remove have tickets in it, they will still remain as a product in your e-commerce platform you are using. For example, if you are using WooCommerce and delete an event that you were selling tickets for, then the ticket product will still be available as well as the WooCommerce orders for that product.
Depending on your preference, you can then delete those products/orders, but you might want to keep them if you wish to maintain your e-commerce statistics intact.
Does it help with what you are trying to accomplish? Let me know if you have other questions and I’d be happy to help! 🙂

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for your patience.
After investigating this a bit more we arrived to the following conclusion:
If the source feed provides a different UID (Unique and persistent IDentifier) each time for the same event there is little we can do; the standard is that the UID is what you can rely on to distinguish and track events across time and changes.
I’m sorry I can’t be of much help with this, but there is not much we can do when the source feed does not comply with a standard (see https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5545#section-3.8.4.7)
Don’t hesitate to ask any other question and I’d be happy to help as much possible.

MemberHi Kun Lu!
Thanks for reaching out to us. Let me help you with that issue.
The QR code will only have the ticket ID and Event ID. It does not need the security code because it will only allow a logged in user with proper permissions to check-in an attendee.
I’m not sure how the Google QR extension works, but many QR code scanner should work to check-in the attendees. You only need to make sure you are logged. Could you please try using a different QR code scanner to see if it works for you?

As a reference, we have a great article about using QR codes here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/

MemberHi Greg!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you this topic.
The total amount of tickets sold comes from the orders info, so deleting the attendee records won’t reduce that count.
Did you delete the attendee records for a refunded or cancelled order? What is the process that you are following that results in deleting an attendee?
Let me point you to a couple of articles that will help you this topic:
- Tickets: Managing Your Orders and Attendees
- How to Refund or Cancel a Tickets Order
- WooCommerce-Specific Ticket Settings
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

MemberHi Gisela!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with each question:
1/ in the old FB events plug in, I could add a whole list of FB pages to import events from. How can I do that in Event Aggregator? Seems I can only add one FB page at a time…. please tell me there’s another way…
Unfortunately, Event Aggregator does not currently support adding multiple import origins at the same time, so you would have to add them individually.
2/ I chose one FB page which has many events but I only want to import a few of them, how can I do that? I couldn’t figure out how to select only certain ones. I don’t want to have to import them to then remove them later.
You can select only certain events to be imported after clicking the preview button. You will then be able to check only the events that you want to import. See here > https://cloudup.com/ceAVZy7WTaB
3/ why can I only select ONE category before import? It would be useful to select all that I need in one fell swoop.
You can only select one category to import events in. I definitely agree that it would be very useful to be able to select multiple categories and also tags. I know there are other users wanting this feature too, so I encourage you to vote for this idea in our user voice here > https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17040562-adding-multiple-categories-tags
Let me know if you have other questions and I’d be happy to help 🙂

MemberHi Christos!
Thanks for getting in touch. Let me help you with that issue.
I’ve just checked and it seems you license is active and connected to your site, so there shouldn’t be a problem.
Are all the options greyed out or just some? Could you please send us a screenshot of that page?
Also, please check your Event Aggregator System Status by going to your wp-admin > Events > Help and see if there is any error.
Let us know about that.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Daniel!
I know there have been some improvements in the Event Aggregator server, but I can’t really say if this is something that could have fix your issue.
Nevertheless, I’m super glad it’s now working fine for you. Thanks for following up to let us know about it!

MemberHi Hassan!
I’m glad it worked out for you!
If you want to hide the number of available tickets, you would have to make a template override of the tickets.php template file located at /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/ similar to what you did with the email template file and following the steps provided in our themer’s guide.
I hope it helps! Is there anything else I can help you with? Let me know.

MemberHi Sarah!
Thanks for sending out the screenshot.
It seems I could see it the first time, but it hides after resizing to mobile and then going back to desktop, so it seems there is a glitch somewhere.
Having a closer inspection I can see some styles hiding the filter bar on mobile and are coming from the fusion-global.css stylesheet. These could be coming from the Fusion Builder or Fusion Core plugins which I see you are using.
Do you see any difference when deactivating those plugins? Let us know about it.
Thanks,
VictorSeptember 5, 2017 at 6:30 am in reply to: Duplicate Events generated and not overwriting events when updated #1344801Victor
MemberHi Kirsten!
Thanks for confirming that.
Unfortunately, there is no built in way to delete an event that is no longer present from an import source.
The available settings that define how events are imported are the ones described here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/
I understand you are no longer experiencing duplicates now. Could you please confirm this?
Is there anything else I can help you with? Let me know about it.

MemberHi Luke!
Thanks for getting in touch! I’d be happy to help you with that.
There is no built in venue attribute for the tribe_events_list shortcode. However, you can use the tribe_featured_venue shortcode listed here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/#featured-venue-shortcode
If you were to build a deeper customization for a landing page, you can make use of the tribe_get_events() helper function. You can learn more about it here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-tribe_get_events/
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions.
