    Hi Michael!

    Let me help you with this issue while Courtney is away today.

    I’m really sorry you are still getting duplicate events from Google.

    Could you please share with us the Google Calendar URL you are importing from? We will run some tests on our end to see what could be causing the duplicates.

    When coming back, please also share with us you system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Ulf!

    You can hide specific categories from the Filter bar by using the snippet Nico shared in this thread > https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/exclude-two-specific-categories-from-filter-bar-menu/#dl_post-1134692

    I hope that helps 🙂

    Is there anything else we can help you with? Let us know

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Trevor!

    Thanks for clearing that out. Please let us know when you post in our premium forums so we can further assist you.

    For this specific issue, it would be great if you could provide us with some screenshots of it and a link to the pages where you are having the issues.

    Thanks,

    Hi BJ,

    Let me help you out with this issue while Courtney is away today.

    Thanks for sending out those error logs. These might indicate something in your database is not right.

    Could you please try deleting one of those scheduled imports that are failing and re-schedule it again? Does it import after that?

    If it doesn’t, please share with us (in a private reply) a dump of your site’s database. The guide Courtney previously shared is a great starting point to do it.

    Let us know how that goes and if you have other questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Emanuele,

    I’m sorry you are still experiencing issues with your imports.

    If you go to your Imports History by going to Events > Import > History tab, do you see the failed import records with a red exclamation mark? Please hover over them and let us know which error messages you are getting for each specific failed import.

    Also, could you please send us a screenshot of the Event Aggregator System Status by going to Events > Help ?

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Oliver!

    Let me help you out while Courtney is out today.

    Thanks for sending out those links. I did a few tests in my own installation but could not reproduce the errors you are having with those sources.

    For the “Import failed. The import fetched is not queued up for importing. Please try the import again.” error, could you please try deleting one of those scheduled imports and then re-schedule it again? Do you get an error for that source after that?

    Regarding the error “Import failed. Import data records have to be finalized, before posts (events) can be inserted.” It seems to me this could be an isolated error message for a specific scenario. I will reach out to the team regarding this error and will get back to you when I get a more accurate definition of it.

    Please let us know how re-scheduling the imports work for you.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Daniel!

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Let me help you with those issues.

    When I changed it to two months, then the events page showed me every event for the next two years. Even when I set it back to one month

    I tried reproducing this behaviour in my own local installation but failed to do so. The “Create recurring events in advance for setting will only apply when creating or editing a recurring event that will repeat perpetually with no known end date. You can learn more about this setting here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

    Could you please share a link to that specific event you are having this issue with? I will have a look at it to see if I can spot something strange.

    Just to keep things more organized and ensure we give the proper attention to each issue, please open a new topic for the “Import Date Range” issue. When you do, please share with us the URL you are importing from and also let us know the exact filter setting you are assigning to that import. This way we’ll run some tests on our end to identify the source of the problem.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Julia!

    Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with that topic.

    First, please note that we are limited in how much we can support custom development questions like that.

    That said, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction as best possible.

    I did find a way to achieve what you are looking for with some custom CSS. Try copy and pasting the following styles into your theme’s styles.css file, or by adding them via the WordPress customizer by going to your wp-admin > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

    .fusion-blog-layout-grid .fusion-post-content-container {
    margin-top: 20px;
    height: 150px;
    overflow: hidden;
    }
    #wrapper .post-content h2 {
    white-space: nowrap;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-overflow: ellipsis;
    {

    Bear in mind this will hide part of the event title as well as the event excerpt, so it has some side effects that you might want to consider.

    I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Cody!

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Let me try to help you with that topic.

    We don’t currently have a similar feature scheduled that will address this issue like in the month view. As you pointed out, in our latest release of the plugin we have included some classes to the code so it’s easier to customize and style.

    I understand this is something we could do better in the future. We have a User Voice here > https://tribe.uservoice.com/ where you can post a new idea about this so other users can vote for it and we’ll take it into account when the time for building new features come.

    If you have an idea on how this issue could be addressed, feel free to to let me know and I’d be happy to help you elaborate it further.

    On the other hand, if you need some help with overcoming this issue in your site by customizing the template, I’d also be happy to point you in the right direction as much possible.

    Don’t hesitate to ask other questions 🙂

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Joel!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with that topic.

    The ‘tribe_rsvp_email_subject’ filter is loaded when the send_tickets_email() function executes to send the ticket email. You can find this function in the RSVP.php file located at /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/

    You could indeed add the event title and date using that filter as $event_id is one of the available parameters for the ‘tribe_rsvp_email_subject’.

    I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

    Hi Luke!

    Thanks for clearing that out.

    Try using the following code instead:
    add_action( 'event_tickets_attendees_table_ticket_column', 'tribe_add_phone_to_attendee_ticket_details' );
    function tribe_add_phone_to_attendee_ticket_details( $item ) {
    if ( ! isset( $item['order_id'] ) ) return;
    $phone_number = get_post_meta( $item['order_id'], '_billing_phone', true );
    if ( ! empty( $phone_number ) ) {
    printf( '<div class="event-tickets-ticket-purchaser">Phone: %s</div>', sanitize_text_field( $phone_number ) );
    } else {
    if ( ! isset( $item['user_id'] ) ) return;
    $userinfo = get_userdata( $item['user_id'] );
    printf( '<div class="event-tickets-ticket-purchaser">Phone: %s</div>', sanitize_text_field( $userinfo->billing_phone ) );
    }
    }

    Bear in mind, the phone number will only print in case there is one available for the user.

    Let me know how that works for you.

    Best,
    Victor
