    I can totally see the point regarding the fake tickets. I will reach out to the team to have a closer look at this and will come back as soon as I have a more solid answer.

    Regarding the check-in redirecting to the event page issue, do you see the attendee has been registered after the redirect? You can see this in the attendees page for the event.

    If it does check-in the attendee, then this could be a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down you should go through the testing for conflicts guide and see what you find in that process > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

    On the other hand, if it doesn’t check in the attendee, this could be a problem with QR code scanner somehow, so it could be worth trying with some other QR code scanner to see if any difference.

    (my apologies for calling you Joe before)

    I’m sorry you are not able to see the links yet. Let me help you troubleshoot that.

    First, let me clarify that Community Tickets currently requires you to have Event Tickets Plus in order to be able to create and manage RSVP tickets through the community forms. That said, we are currently working to drop this requirement, so that you will be able manage RSVPs with only Event Tickets installed.

    I will add this thread to the corresponding report so we can notify you when this change is made in one of our next maintenance releases.

    Regarding the links not showing, is this happening with all events or just one/some? Are you making any template customizations to that page?

    I know you tried the following:

    • Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
    • Switched to a default theme? Yes

    Did you see any difference while deactivating all other plugins? What happens if you deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default theme at the same time? Does it change anything?

    If you see no changes in those conditions, we’ll have to make some deeper troubleshooting.

    Thanks for clearing that out!

    I haven’t noticed that you were actually referring only to Eventbrite’s event tickets.

    Unfortunately, you won’t be able to make use of the Event Tickets functions as all the ticket information is fetched from Eventbrite and not saved into your site’s database.

    The article you share will only be of use for events created using Event Tickets.

    Please note that we are limited in how much we can support customizations like this one. That said, we always like helping out and at least point you in the right direction as best possible.

    I’d be happy to take a look at your week template and see if I can find some CSS snippet to accomodate the overlapping events.

    Alternatively, I’d be happy to make changes so that Week View actually just duplicates the Month View but filters out weeks other than the current one. Is this possible? Is it a complicated fix?

    I’m not sure I understand what you mean by filtering out weeks other than the current one. Do you mean you’d like to remove the times on the week view? Could you explain this further?

    I’m not aware of a specific plan to build this feature into the plugin’s settings, but I do know it is intended to further improve Filter Bar to be more customizable so we can extend its functionality with custom coding.

    Sorry to hear that Kirsten.

    I made a few extra tests for the import source you provided and I’m still unable to reproduce the issue.

    To make sure this is not a theme or plugin conflict, please delete the duplicated events and then try running the import with only our plugins activated and using a default theme like twenty seventeen. Do you get duplicates in those conditions?

    If you still experience the duplicates, then please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG. This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.

    After that, try manually running the import until you get a duplicate, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.

    Let us know how that goes.

    Hi Steve!

    Thanks for following up with this and answering all the questions.

    I can see you might be working with a dev/staging site. If so, this might be the issue. The qr code images are downloaded from your site and not embedded in the ticket email. So, if your iPhone or any other phone or browser is not able to reach your site, it won’t be able to show the qr code image.

    Could you please confirm this?

    Hi Emily!

    That sounds good! Let me add another suggestion for this.

    Since you will be deleting and making significant changes to your site, I’d recommend you perform a full backup of your site, both database and files just in case something unwanted happens and you’ll be able to go back to a previous state.

    In addition, we always encourage to setup a dev/staging site where you can try all this changes without disrupting the live site. Once you are happy with this changes you can then make them in the live site.

    You should be able to view a list of all the RSVP’s for your event just as you would with any other paid tickets, by going to the Attendees page. In there you will be able to export a list of the attendees like it shows here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#exporting-attendees
