    Hi James!

Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with that issue.

The URL you sent is the embed code for the calendar. Could you please share the iCal feed for it? We’ll run some tests with it and see what we can find.

Also, could you please share a screenshot of the Event Aggregator System Status by going to your wp-admin > Events > Help ?

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi There!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with that issue.

I could not reproduce it in my own installation. This could be a theme/plugin conflict. When you mention that your page won’t load without ACF activated, could you please explain why is this?

Have you tried disabling all other plugins and switching to a default theme altogether? Do you see any difference in this situation?

Please let us know about it.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Ronny!

Thanks for chiming in with this and for letting us know about that case.

I do not recall other users having such configuration with taxes on their tickets, but I do understand the situation for corporate use.

We can totally leave this open so other users can chime in and offer suggestions for this.

I did find the following article on how to set up taxes in WooCommerce that might be of help > https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/

Do let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Hi Glyn!

I will reach out to the team to see if we can come up with a snippet to change the order in which all-day events appear in the lists.

I will come back as soon as I have something. Please hang in there.

    Thanks,

Thanks for confirming that works for you Michael. For the moment we can’t commit to a date for when this will be addressed but we’ll definitely let you know when it’s shipped.

We appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Hi Michael!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.

Currently, the End Sale date for the ticket will only prevent the ticket from showing up in the Event page. The ticket product in WooCommerce will still be available.

It’s possible to craft URLs that add tickets to the cart despite the fact the end sale date may have passed (or that the start sale date is still in the future) and the same thing can be done programmatically or via manual adjustments to orders.

This is something we could do better. In fact, we have an open ticket to improve this functionality, so I will link this thread to that report. We will of course keep you posted and will drop an update in here once a fix is available.

As a workaround in the meantime you can manually edit the product in Woocommerce and set it to Out of Stock to prevent it from being added to the cart.

Please let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Victor

    Hi Robert!

Thanks for following up with this to let us know that.

Is it possible that you installed the release candidate for our Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus feature release? If so, this could have caused that issue.

We’ve just shipped the stable version of our feature release for Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus, along with an update for The Events Calendar. You can learn more about it here > https://theeventscalendar.com/release-event-tickets-4-6-event-tickets-plus-4-6-events-calendar-4-6-4-community-tickets-4-5/

Please update the plugins and let me know if it works for your site.

I suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site. We also encourage to make a full backup of your site, both database and files so in case something goes wrong you can always restore your site.

Please let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

Right on Tommy! Great to know you could find a way to make it work!

Thanks for following up to let us know and to share the solution so others needing to change that can use the code 🙂

It seems you are all set with this, so I’ll go ahead and close the thread. Don’t hesitate to open a new topic if anything comes up and we’ll be happy to help.

    Hi Julius!

Unfortunately, that is not possible as importing Events will only allow you to import the Venue name and Event Organizer Name/ID.

Events, Venues and Organizers are different and separate post types, so you will only be able to import the Venue Description, Venue Address, Venue Address 2, Venue City, Venue State, Venue Website when importing Venues.

I know some users first import all venues and organizers once, and then import events when they need to, so they are linked to those already created venues/organizers.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Hi Corey!

Thanks for following up with this.

I don’t think that plugin would add much load to your site. Placing the snippet into your functions.php file will avoid the need to install the plugin.

On the other hand, if the CSS snippet works for you then it’s totally fine if you don’t use the php snippet.

Since you marked this Resolved I’ll go ahead and close it, but don’t hesitate to open a new topic if anything comes up and we’ll be happy to help.

    Hi Robert!

Thanks for letting us know about that.

I am not able to reproduce the issue in my own installation, so there might be something else in place.

Did this started happening all of a sudden? Do you recall performing any actions in your site before this started happening, like a theme/plugin update?

I can see the datepicker not showing properly when selecting the ticket start sale date. Does it also breaks when trying to pick an event start date?

Besides the datepicker looking like that, does it work as expected or do you experience any issues picking a date?

Please let me know about this, so I can make a few extra tests in my installation to see if I can reproduce.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Tommy!

The CSS code I sent is slightly different from the original. You can see that I removed the .events-archive.events-gridview selector, which is targeting elements that differ from the main events calendar and the shortcode.

I tried using the new CSS code and it works for me in your page. If it still does not work, please try clearing your browser cache and see if any difference.

Let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Franck!

Thanks for coming back with the screenshots and the iCal feed.

I made a few tests and I could overcome the problem you are having with the limit.

the whole preview stops 30 days from today even though there are events farther on from that that are not synced.

Could you please try going to Events > Settings > Import tab and under Global Import Settings change the Import Limit Type and Import Date Range Limit so that it fetches more than one month in the future? After that, are you able to get the Jan 5th “Web Services” event?

I am able to fetch an event called “Bowie vs TBA” on Dec 9th, is that the event you are not able to import? Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Victor
