    Hi Dale!

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

We apologize for a bit of delay in getting back to you. We are dealing with a high volume of threads at the moment and we are slowly getting back to normal response times.

We do not provide any out of the box solutions to achieve that. I know several users integrate our plugins with WooCommerce Memberships plugin. I found a thread from a user that describes a bit how things work alongside our plugins > https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-tickets-plus-and-woocommerce-memberships/

I hope that helps you get an idea of how to accomplish that. Let me know if any follow up questions. 🙂

    Best,

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for coming back with the screenshots and for letting us know about that.

We do not provide any duplicate event functionality with our plugins. Having a closer inspection to your system information I can see you are using the “Post Duplicator” plugin. Are they using this plugin to duplicate events? If so, this could most probably be the cause of the issue.

We know of several other customer who have experienced similar issues with their attendees when using a duplicated event. The reason is because when duplicating an event, it may also be duplicating attendees and other postmeta related to the original event.

I’d recommend you avoid using that plugin to duplicate your events as it seems to cause these sort of inconsistencies. I know some other users were using a different plugin to duplicate their events and also were getting similar problems.

Please try creating a new event from scratch and make some test purchases to see how things work. In case you get the same behavior please let us know.

We suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out without disrupting the live site.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Barbara,

Thanks for letting us know about the steps you made. It’s great to hear the issue is solved now.

I don’t think the WP_DEBUG fixed the error. I suspect that the change in your server PHP version could have affected here. It may have been that the error you were getting was being caused by some code not working properly when using an older version of PHP.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Hi David,

Thanks for following up with this.

I’m sorry the time it took us to fix this was too long for you. It seems the fix ended up requiring many more changes in many different parts of the code than initially estimated. For this, it had to be postponed for at least two previous releases before the final fixes ended up passing all the QA processes.

We apologize once again for the inconvenience.

I’ll close this thread now, but feel free to open a new topic if anything comes up.

    Hi Brittany,

Thanks for following up with this.

Even when removing the modification to add the images on the month view and using the extension available from the events calendar website, it still shows all of the same image.

Could you please let us know more about this modification? Are you making a template customization?

Can you also point us to which extension you are referring to? I’m trying to understand how the images are added to each event in the first place.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Lucy,

Unfortunately, there is no built-in functionality to do that. If you wanted to change that behavior you could probably do so, but would require some custom coding.

We are fairly limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions like that. That said, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction as much possible.

I’d recommend you take a look at our themer’s guide that will get you started on customizing our plugins.

Let me know if any follow up questions.

I’ve just had a look at the code and that text is generated by the tribe_get_recurrence_text() function located at /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/functions/template-tags/general.php

You can customize the output of this function by using the tribe_get_recurrence_text filter available.

I hope that helps as a starting point.

    Hi Peggy,

I’m sorry to hear it’s still not working after the update.

Could you please share with us your latest system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

I have just navigated to your site’s community submission form and I can see many venues and organizers being available to select. Could you please share with us the URL for a venue/organizer you are not seeing available?

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi DeAnne!

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been impacted by this issue. I can confirm it is indeed a bug on our end.

The good news is we have already shipped a new release of The Events Calendar to fix it.

You can find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/announcing-the-events-calendar-4-6-22-1-and-community-events-4-5-13-1/

I can see you have already updated the plugin, did the update work for you? Please let us know.

As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.

Let me also share the following article that explains how you can also downgrade your plugins to a previous version > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
