Chris
ParticipantHi Support,
I have an event with a venue capacity of 20. There are 2 ticket types, regular and concession with the shared capacity set to 20. This event has had 6 regular tickets sold, 1 concessions sold, and 1 concession ticket refunded. The refunded ticket quantity has not been readjusted.
On the front-end of the event, I expect to see regular tickets available 14, and concession 19 available, which I do on page load. When trying to add a ticket, the quantity available drops to 0 available. When the ticket is removed, the available quantity goes to 1 available.
The orders page for the event shows the following:
Sales by Tickets
Tickets sold: 2
Completed: 2
Processing: 6
Advocacy Skills – September 2018 ($250.00): Sold 1 (6 awaiting review)

MemberHi Chris!
Thanks for taking the time to report this and for all the detailed information and screenshots.
We apologize for a bit of delay in getting back to you. We are dealing with a high volume of threads at the moment and we are slowly getting back to normal response times.
I will need to run some tests on my end and see if I can reproduce the same behavior. I will get back to you today, just as soon as I have my findings.
Please hang in there.
Thanks,

MemberHi Chris!
Thanks for your patience with this.
After some tests, I was not able to reproduce the same issue as you experience.
Could you please share with us a screenshot of the “Tickets” metabox, while editing the event so we can see the summary of both tickets?
I noticed you deleted all the attendees for the event. Did you experience the problem after doing this or do you know after which specific action you started seeing the stock issue?
Please let me know about it.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Victor,
It’s my understanding the client used the ‘Duplicate Event’ button on a previous event to create this event. The problem was reported after an attendee was refunded.
Please find the requested screenshots attached.

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for coming back with the screenshots and for letting us know about that.
We do not provide any duplicate event functionality with our plugins. Having a closer inspection to your system information I can see you are using the “Post Duplicator” plugin. Are they using this plugin to duplicate events? If so, this could most probably be the cause of the issue.
We know of several other customer who have experienced similar issues with their attendees when using a duplicated event. The reason is because when duplicating an event, it may also be duplicating attendees and other postmeta related to the original event.
I’d recommend you avoid using that plugin to duplicate your events as it seems to cause these sort of inconsistencies. I know some other users were using a different plugin to duplicate their events and also were getting similar problems.
Please try creating a new event from scratch and make some test purchases to see how things work. In case you get the same behavior please let us know.
We suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out without disrupting the live site.
Thanks,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
