MemberHey there! 🙂
I think you’ll find what you are looking for in the following article > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/
I’m not really sure about the ticket products on the WooCommerce side. I think the best would be to run some tests with it. Let me also point you to the WooCommerce documentation about roles and permissions > https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/roles-capabilities/
I hope it helps.
Cheers,
VictorFebruary 22, 2018 at 12:04 pm in reply to: Event tickets products are uncategorized. Can I set a category automatically? #1461313Victor
MemberHi There!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
That is not a default functionality of our plugins, but it surely is possible to assign a product category to the ticket product after it has been created.
If you want it to be auto-assigned upon ticket creation this would involve custom coding which we can’t give support for as we state here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
That said, if you decide to start coding it and bump into any questions, do let us know and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction as much possible.

MemberHi Hirsch!
Thanks for taking your time to report this.
I’m sorry for the delay in our response. Let me note that it might take us between 24-48 hrs before we respond to a post as we state here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/ It generally is significantly faster than that, but it depends on forums load.
I can confirm this is indeed a bug we are already working on to fix.
I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
We apologise for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

I can tell that is unfortunately, not a built-in functionality of any of our plugins. Do let us know if any follow up questions.

MemberHi Alyson!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately, that is not a built-in functionality of our plugins.
It might be possible to do with some custom coding but I believe it would also involve something extra on the Facebook side.
I hope it helps. Let me know if any follow up question.

For your specific issue. we have a great article that will get you started on Performance Considerations you should know about. After that, if you decide to implement a caching system then you can move to these articles: Caching: What, when and how and Caching month view HTML in transients
Finally, there is a good article George put up here that groups a set of developer plugins. It’s a bit more technical than the others but will definitely be of help if you are into development.
