Narrow filter options based on a previously selected filter

Is it possible to have the filter options in one drop down narrow down based on a previous filter selection?

Example – venues have a region and city filter available.

Rather than displaying all cities as options, if a region is selected only those cities that are under a particular region should be displayed as options.
