    Hi again,

If you have more than one line to output, echo is not the way to go. In that case, you could do something like this:

    https://gist.github.com/skyshab/dfdf4aa9ce12088cbf078170f4cb0dd0

For questions about using PHP, see http://php.net/docs.php

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks,

    Hi again,

It’s hard to say what’s going on without seeing your code in context. Could you paste your complete single-event.php file into a code sharing site like http://snippi.com/ and share the link with me here?

Can you also tell me exactly where you put this modified file within your child-theme?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the Eventbrite Tickets plugin. I will try to help you get this sorted.

What you are describing is very peculiar! Our plugin does not have the ability to redirect your event page to Eventbrite. All it does is embed the ticket interface from Eventbrite on the page and synch the details.

I even tried importing the event from Eventbrite, and I am able to navigate to the event page and see the ticket interface as expected.

Can you try temporarily switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme and disabling all other plugins and see if this still happens? I’m guessing your theme or another plugin that you’re using may have some kind of option for this somewhere.

You can read more about this troubleshooting process here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

Let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this problem. We have seen a few other cases of this pop up recently, and have a bug ticket opened for it already. I’ll attach this thread to the ticket, and we will follow up with you here when a fix has been released.

Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

The “fix venue data” button is supposed to show up when it detects issues with the venue information. I’m not sure what happened during the steps you described, but usually clicking that button will fix the type of issue you are describing.

Is that button not visible anymore in the maps settings? I tried to find a way to force that to show but am not coming up with anything.

If that button is not showing, manually updating may be your only option at this point. I’m going to continue trying to find a way to do this in bulk or force redo the venues, and I’ll let you know if I come up with anything. Not sure how many venues you have or how soon you need to have this working, but it may be more expedient to do it manually if you can’t wait for me to find something.

    Thanks
    Sky

    Hi Trevor,

It should just work if the site in question is using a relatively new version of the plugin.

Can you share the URL of one that isn’t working for you?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

OK, gotcha. There was a snippet around for changing the timepicker to have 15 minute intervals.

So the events were generated correctly, but changed after a short amount of time? That’s indeed very strange, and I’m not sure how that would even happen.

Do you have a staging server? I’d be interested to see if you could reproduce that with the Twenty Seventeen theme enabled and all other plugins disabled. How much time had passed from when you created the events to when you noticed the times had changed?

What happens if you create a completely new test event with a similar recurrence pattern? Do you see the same results?

I looked at the recurring events I generated when testing this yesterday, and everything still has the correct times.

Can you please share your system information with me? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your question.

When using that setting, it should preserve any changes that are made to your events after importing while still allowing other fields to be updated on subsequent imports. If you re-import an event after making any edits, Event Aggregator will omit any fields that have been modified with The Events Calendar, updating only the remaining fields that have changed at the source.

However, Aggregator will not delete events from your site that have been removed from the source.

As far as the titles go, I believe it uses a combination of title and date/time to determine which event is which. If the title has been changed at the source, it may be seen as a new event.

You can read more about the event update authority settings here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the Venue submission form. I will try to help you get this sorted.

I am not seeing the behavior you describe on my local test site. Because you require users to be logged in to submit an event, I am unable to take a look at what’s going on in your particular case.

Could you try temporarily switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme and disabling all other plugins to see if there could be a theme/plugin conflict causing the issue? You can read more about this process here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

Let me know how that goes.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I will try to help with your question.

Unfortunately, our calendar does not have that functionality. Within a given event, you can set up exclusions within the event series. However, there’s not a way to target multiple distinct events. You would need to edit each event series parent.

Hope that helps! Sorry I didn’t have better news for you on that.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your issue.

The message that is showing in your screenshots is usually something you see when there are no events within the date range you have specified. I see that you have it set to import events for one month in the future. Are there events in the file you are trying to import that happen within the next month?

If so, can you share the file you are trying to import with me here so I can try to replicate this on my end?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi David,

Thanks for chiming in with your experience. Have you created a separate ticket for this? This will really help us track on how widespread the issue is and also improve communication about the issue.

Also, try going through the troubleshooting steps outlined in the testing for conflicts guide in the link above.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

Sorry to hear that you’re not happy with my answer. Unfortunately, that’s how the plugin currently works.

Events, Venues, and Organizers are all stored as custom post types within the wp_posts table.

If you would like request this as a feature, please visit our User Voice Forum.

    Have a great day!

    Hi again,

Thanks for providing the screenshot. I was not able to reproduce this on my end. However, I noticed that you have quarter hours available in the start times. Have you added some code to enable this? If so, can you try temporarily removing that code and generate a new test event to see if that changes anything?

For that matter, if you remove all the instances of this event except the first and regenerate the events, does this happen again? What if you try removing all the instances and also recreating the recurrence pattern?

    Same?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

I’m not sure if the code is getting altered when you paste it into the editor here or not, but the thing that stands out is that it seems you are using fancy quotes, which won’t work.

You need to replace all the ‘ and ’ with ‘

    Hope that helps!
